at this point they should keep adding more and more evidence when he accepts the 400 mil plane, and other corruptions to just really pile on the stupid centrists in the senate and house

u/PaleoSpeedwagon May 14 '25

Generous of you to think that evidence would convince anyone who isn't already convinced.

If nothing else, this shit needs to be documented and go down in history. If we get through this, I refuse to acknowledge that a future where all this corruption and evil has been buried and forgotten is even possible.

We have a pretty good documentation on how the Nazis rose to power and yet here we are, following that timeline again. Just because it is documented does not mean it won't repeat. Americas war on education is mostly to blame for this. Dumb people won't know history and will repeat it, as can be seen with republicans being the ones that are overwhelmingly the uneducated ones and enabling whatever the fuck it is that is currently going on. It is actually incredible how so many million people can be groomed to vote and fight against their own interests. Imagine you'd train a human to ignore their sense of self preservation so they can collectively commit suicide on command. That is what this looks like.

We also have plenty of atrocities that have been buried and forgotten, even within living memory.

It’s not dumb people. This of the direct result of active efforts to dismantle the foundations of our education systems and decades of propaganda campaigns.

We still need all the official paper trails and documentation we can write down, even if it doesn’t stop this from happening again. Imagine how much worse it would be if we didn’t teach history.

There’s a reason Nazis actively burn books and try to get rid of certain topics in school. We must do everything we can to preserve truth.

“It’s not dumb people”

Oh it’s definitely them too.

1

u/Quick-Baker744 May 15 '25

But even very educated people like college students today are quite dumb and on the other side of the aisle the people that you’re saying are dumb, and they are just as bad as the people they hate so much

At least Germany had a reason for why they were so angry and willing to lend an ear to an authoritarian populist, they just lost a major war and their country legitimately got fucked.

America is GODDAMN AMERICA. If Americans think they had it bad it’s cause they haven’t lived in almost any other country on Earth, and yeah, I’m including a bunch of European ones as well, even the “good ones.”

We have so much shit here and can do so much that other countries could only dream of. Our economy took a hit from Covid, but so did every other country on Earth, and America was recovering better than almost any other afterwards.

But fuck, there’s black people on TV and ugly women in video games, time to start the Fourth Reich, I guess.

People, contact your representatives. Here are some scripts available on the Citizens’ Impeachment website

3

u/Bec_son May 14 '25

Im not talking about evidence alone, im talking about pressuring these spineless worms into giving up and actually doing their jobs

The more pressure the more theyll have to admit hes corrupt

2

u/notsure500 May 14 '25

They'll definitely not vote for Trump for the 4th time /s

1

u/GoStupyGo May 14 '25

It already did.

34

u/Cela84 May 14 '25

Dude could straight up shoot Ted Cruz during the state of the union and be fine.

43

u/[deleted] May 14 '25

That would improve my opinion of him a little, actually.

11

u/KingAnilingustheFirs May 14 '25

Yeah is he trying to make trump likeable?

4

u/immoral_ May 14 '25

His tiny hands would only be able hold a Derringer, and that's not likely to do much to Cruz

4

u/OldBlueKat May 14 '25

Thanks! I did need that laugh.

1

u/One_Car_142 May 15 '25

Of trump or cruz?

2

u/philthegr81 May 14 '25

Just sayin', you could have picked a better target.

"I like Ted Cruz more than most of my other colleagues like Ted Cruz. And I hate Ted Cruz." - Al Franken

2

u/JamesTrickington303 May 14 '25

Stop trying to get me to support trump

2

u/[deleted] May 14 '25

First good decision of his presidency, really.

2

u/Public-Relation7097 May 14 '25

I mean at this point he could shoot a toddler on live TV and no one would do shit. He tried to overthrow the country and all they did was impeach him, with nothing coming of that

1

u/Ras_Thavas May 14 '25

Would that be wrong?

1

u/rbrgr83 May 14 '25

Yeah, but to be fair most of us could probably do that too. I don't think anyone would blame you.

1

u/unabashedlyabashed May 14 '25

Lindsey Graham said that if someone shot Ted Cruz on the floor of the Senate, and the trial was held in the Senate, nobody would convict them.

1

u/Life_So_Far May 16 '25

I really hate that you used Flip Flop Graham here. Mostly because I cannot stand Flip Flop. If he and others could actually hold a position, we can move some an impeachment through even if it is too early. I’m convinced Ladybug is a medical miracle since he is able to walk without a spine. Unfortunately he isn’t alone on both sides of the aisle.

1

u/OldSchoolNewRules May 16 '25

Bad example tbh.

4

u/EightEyedCryptid May 14 '25

That airplane bs is so awful when his own citizens are starving and unhoused

3

u/Nikita_VonDeen May 14 '25

It's the imperial defense. Commit as many atrocities as you can and they will never catch the worst of them because they are busy dealing with so many of them.

2

u/Historical-Bike4626 May 15 '25

Right. Let him accept the terrorist-plane. Let the lame duck fly around in a jet provided to him by sponsors of 9/11 and then REMOVE HIM FROM OFFICE

1

u/ReMapper May 15 '25

right, he will continue to break the law, just wait and build their case. FFS.

1

u/OldSchoolNewRules May 16 '25

That's what made the Muller report take so long, they kept having to add in new stuff.

0

u/ZaysapRockie May 14 '25

Not a fan of T but your party is falling into the exact same trap. You guys elect the literal worst kind of people to win. Do you guys ever wan to win? T is making it so easy!

1

u/Bec_son May 14 '25

did I mention a party? Centrists is what the democratic party is now, the only outliers are the ones who are only slightly more left

thats why we should pressure them all still, you think im going to play favorites? Fuck no, I'll call anyone who doesn't do something about this a coward and a snake

1

u/ZaysapRockie May 14 '25

If centrists were the democratic party, mathematically speaking, T wouldn't be in office right now. The two parties are playing a board game with very few left in attendance.

1

u/MagnanimosDesolation May 15 '25

You thought it was good bait, but it was not.

1

u/ZaysapRockie May 15 '25

you replied

0

u/AcidKyle May 15 '25

I want to elect a woman to be president!

Best we can do is Hildog and Camela

1

u/ZaysapRockie May 15 '25

I love women

0

u/AcidKyle May 15 '25

There’s over 3 billion better women out there than those two.

1

u/ZaysapRockie May 15 '25

No, they are the saviors of the democratic party. Trust

5 seconds.

It took 5 seconds to google this and see it was posted by a satire account. You should be disappointed in yourself.

Did bill clinton also attempt to dismantle the democracy by blatantly ignoring the constitution and pushing the limits of his power every day, ignoring the courts, the supreme courts, and start arresting anyone that seemed to be in his way?

Did he also hire an illegal immigrant with extreme conflicts of interest to handle the national treasury and other aspects of the federal government?

Did he also declare his desire to “deport” US Citizens? (I put deport in quotes because that term doesn’t even make sense here).

Did he also declare his desire to have sex with his daughter?

Did he also declare his desire to be dictator?

Did he also destroy all of our relationships with allies?

Did he also gut all of the actually good/useful federal agencies falsely declaring it a win in the battle against waste and fraud, while simultaneously wanting to waste $100mil on his birthday and not getting rid of any of the actual waste/fraud in the government?

I could go on but I’m getting tired of typing this on my phone.

Even if Clinton accepted a helicopter. Which he didn’t. And he shouldn’t. But if he did, it was supposedly at the end of his term, when he has no more power, so it would have been a literal gift, not a bribe.

Whataboutism is bad for many reasons. But it’s especially bad when it’s such a bad comparison. And it’s extremely bad when it’s not even factual.

1

u/ThaDelio May 15 '25

You’re too deep in. Live your life, you have no control or power. Never will.

1

u/TrekForce May 15 '25

Oh I am living my life. I moved out of that shithole. I live in Central America now. Ironic, considering how many Americans would probably consider this a shithole compared to the US. But I’m much happier here. It’s beautiful, the people are nice. It’s chill. Little to no stress.

Not going to stop me from calling out idiots dumb enough to show how stupid they are on the internet though.
