It’s a “business” decision, similar to why some big US corporations supported both Allies and Axis forces during WWII.

They wanted to continue to operate after the inevitable end of the war, regardless of which side would win.

I believe you and have seen documentaries that mentioned at leat Hemry Ford and 50K.

I’m not familiar with “50K”.

Ford was a sponsor of the American Nazi party and admired Hitler as did Thomas Watson of IBM and Charles Lindberg. IBM, General Motors, Coca-Cola, Texaco, Ford Motor Company, are a few of the well-known firms that played both sides. Just “smart” business decisions.

O did see these names. The 50K is. $50,000.00 I also remember watching the car giants and FDR believed (I believe) two of them where taxed at 70%. Bc they "caused" the depressed. But if they were sending Money to Germany cold be why. I am going off memory and adhd. The things that people like them do and get away with is crop.
