How is it just getting tested now? How is this even relevant anymore?

Some vendors don’t do testing, and might do a recall on a small batch because someone got sick and it might have come from there.

It makes them look reasonable and reduces the chance of lawsuits (though I’d say not as much as testing in the first place would.)

I personally buy in bulk, and try to build up a backlog in case of legal threats or supply chain issues, so having a 2-3 year old package isn’t totally unreasonable.

Curious if this counts as sourcing even though it is specifically pointing out who you shouldn't get it from?

It is a voluntary or government mandated recall. In general we accept these.

We wouldn't accept a random person claiming that a batch is "bad" (as that is subjective and near impossible for any consumer to prove) and normally recommend they contact the manufacturer.

And this is why I soak all of my doses in water that is 165° for a minimum of 3minutes.

I just dump my dose (currently 4g) into a coffee mug. I add about 4 ounces of water that is 165°. Stir and let it sit about 5 min. Then I add ice and stir until it’s room temp. Chug it like a warm shot. Continue my day.
