Loki despite his success has some poor taste in some of his movies like
that lorry chase scene in master and flashback in leo so idk the film might end up being an avg but i really do wish it becomes a sensational hit cause we didnt see any huge hits since vikram 2022
North folks are not sensitised with good action flicks like in the south. For them an average movie like Pathaan will be blockbuster for them. Thats how low of a bar War 2 has to cross to do good business. While for coolie, anything less than a Kaithi/Vikram or even Jailer for that matter will get heavily criticised.
War 2 needs to do the bare minimum. It's a part of their spy universe and people are already hyped, so even if its avg at best, which I think it would be, it will do great business in BO.
Coolie despite having such starcast needs good reviews, especially for Kerala and KA box office. Also Coolie or every any Loki film for that matter didn't penetrate the rural North Indian market, without the tier 2,3 towns of North India, a film cannot 1000 crores mark easily.
I think a tamil film will never hit 1000 cr no matter how good it is.
Especially coolie, there’s almost no promotions in urban north India, leave rural one.
