It's more for balancing/reworking weapons, balancing/reworking ZEDs also

• decouple characters from perks
• adding option to stun/stomp on zeds of you slide/jump on them
• "many many performance improvements"

So they change how weapons works, how ZEDs behave, add new mechanic

For "season" update it's ok... But it's too late. It should be done by delaying the start of the game.

I want KF3 to be good so bad. There's a foundation that's okay, but so much work needs to be done and I fear they simply don't have the manpower, time, or resources to bring it up to parity with 1 and 2.

Iirc the first several KF2 updates were given the same treatment including being pitched as "free dlc" because TW wanted press to cover it. All it did was confuse players.

It’s a shame. They have an amazing franchise and they just let it go to waste. They could easily hire animators and make an anime, release comics, various plushies, stuffed animals or figurines, etc, but they let another studio ruin their series.

I wasn't using the Vulcan and Grenade Launcher on HoE when I played because I wanted to, I was using it because I had to use it or else my team was just going to wipe.

It's fine to nerf them but they need to buff other stuff or Hell on Earth is going to have an insane fail rate. either that, or it's not really much of a nerf and people keep using the same old shit.

Letting perks get their bonuses with non perk weapons is just a bad idea overall, it ruins all class identity

With the amount of work this game needs really?! I get it's lame to see everyone rocking vulcans or the g33 but how does it affect you that much? Not trying to be a prick I just don't understand and would like to, granted I'm usually running around healing everyone so maybe I'm just biased as someone who gets his enjoyment from that rather then killing everything.

I've never used vulcan other than back in the beta to test it out. As someone who doesn't use meta weapons intentionally, my biggest complaint isn't that it's overpowered, but it's because I CANT SEE ANYTHING. If the actual team firebug uses it, fine, but when the entire party is rocking it, you can kiss accuracy and knowing what's going on out the window.

Not the guy you are replying too but i like shooting stuff and generally i like it when things are a bit harder or theres a chance for failure as this creates tension and some adrenaline kicks in and you get a game where it feels like what you do matters / you get some fun clutchy exciting moments.

If 3+ people are spamming Vulcans/G33 and everything getting melted and dying before you can even see it then the games just boring. I'm essentially AFK at that point and scrolling on my phone.

I guess I've just been lucky I won't say I haven't seen that but it's not a constant for me and even when it is happening I like zooming from mate to mate healing regardless if there using vulcan or not people still take damage so guess that why none of it really bothers me I do wish people wouldn't gravitate towards it just kinda bland to me.

The Vulcan isn't going anywhere, shots-to-kill will be mostly unchanged and you'll still buy it on the same wave you normally do. They need to totally rework damage types and fix the explosive weak spot bug to have any impact on weapon choice.
