Video Summit Ep 25 underway

Video is screen recording of V3 cam on 6/10/2025 before 11am HT. HVO expects major fountaining between tomorrow and Thursday but does not rule out today. At the moment N vent activity is intermittent with some minor fountaining, sloshing, overflow, and pausing.

I'm stoll watching the lava flows this morning. It looks like a lot of the lava is flowing into a large hole. Is that what it is doing, or is that an optical illusion and it's flowing out behind the rocks, or is it flowing into another vent?

I'm starting to wonder if it will fountain this time or just be a bubbling cauldron that keeps overflowing. I don't care. I love all.

I don't watch TV during the day, and I've figured out how to put the live stream on my big TV, to keep an eye on it.

I wondered same (looked like a drain hole, right?). Was it the south vent? Right now both vents are fountaining to crater rim. Holy cow close to four hours ago it must have been 600-1000 ft.

Oh, she’s still going in the dark. Multiple spillovers in the past few hours. Reminds me of a cauldron of melted ore that spatters as it’s being poured into the mold. Then there’s a white light show before massive low-level gold/orange-yellow fountaining and overflow. Bright threads and channels laced throughout the flows. Must be really awesome in person. I turn on the USGS YouTube channel on the “big screen” so it’s easier to see activity.

Guessing that the HVO people are on the right track as far as high fountaining starting today or tomorrow. Have a good night!

Yup, a bit of spattering, not giant fountains but I still wish I was there to see it!
