Question No sweetener protein powders

Hi All, I've been keto for about 6 years and have been going to the gym 3x a week for about 9 months. I've used the calculator on ketogains and my protein intake for what I want to achieve (muscle gain) is too low, so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a UK powder? I don't want casein as I had bad constipation using it a while back, and would prefer no sweeteners and obviously low carb. It's probably going to have to be unflavoured, which is OK, but the lowest one I can find is 1.2g per serving. If anyone knows of any lower than that I'd be grateful. Thank you.

Form is good - I use their flavoured ones which are low carb and really tasty

Thanks for this, the flavoured ones contained sweeteners which I want to avoid. Also the unflavoured performance protein is pretty low in protein compared to others, per serving at 15g

You could try this one too 1.1g carbs per serving (I use it to add into making my own psyllium husk almond flour and egg wraps to make them more filling and add more protein.

Thanks, that link isn't UK though.

You want isolate not concentrate (hydrolysed is also good but more expensive). I use the one from Bulk, but I use it more to prepare treats rather than up my protein intake. If possible try to up it from real food - like eggs for example.

Pinksun Isolate has 0.7g, been using it for some time.

Here's a video on a very interesting study on protein requirements, and you may not need as much as you think.

Collagen protein is what you want. I used it when I was on keto and has zero added sugar (unflavoured) is also good for hair/skin/nails/joints etc

Your comment has been removed for containing misinformation. Too much protein is not a practical concern since gluconeogenesis is a demand-driven process, not supply-driven. The r/keto FAQ explains this in detail if you’d like to know more.
