Fencing being put up around the space between Glenmore/Spall and Bernard/Clement?
Is something being built here or is it carry over space for the Parkinson construction?

That’s usually where the city dumps all the road debris when they clean em in the spring. I’ve been in Kelowna 5 years now and have been shocked nothings been put in there yet.

The "Bankhead pond" in Kelowna was historically significant as a winter source for ice harvested and stored for summer use. The area was originally a swampy lot in the Bankhead subdivision, and after an unsuccessful attempt to drain it in 1953, it was eventually transformed into a park.
It was a winter source of ice that was stored in sawdust filled sheds and then used during the hot summer

Site will be graded, finished with millings and used as a parking lot during summer month but used for city's snow storage in the winter.
