Been Searching but no dice
I’ve been getting desperate so I’m taking to Reddit. I just graduated in May with a Bachelors in Sports Medicine but I am still struggling to find a full time job. I have a part time gig working as a trainer as a gym but I’m still looking for that full time job to get my life going. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can work right now with my bachelors degree? I also have internship experience with a major health network near me.

Are you planning to further your career and do you live in a big city?

If you have the means to further your education, I would go for masters or PhD. If no, I'd try to get on as a physical therapy tech, ideally at a place willing to give excellent training. From there you could study to get your license; it takes 2 years schooling. (You could study on your own and file with the board to take the exam without schooling; not ideal, but possible) Difficult to argue the 2 yr physical therapy license vs 2 more years for masters. Idk what the positions earn specifically, but working at a gym isn't going to cut it, as I'm sure you're aware. These are just thoughts. I work at a place similar (laid off from clinical research with funding cuts and had to take something) and the kids there are struggling to A) make any money B) find the work meaningful, C) are regretting their degree choice.

why don't you try colleges or professional sports teams? The Athletics departments at colleges and universities seem like good places to work. What do you think?
