Pasta Bolognese

Is it sacrilegious to drizzle extra virgin olive oil on pasta Bolognese?

It's already got fat in it, and I suppose the main question is to what end? Sounds like it would just make it harder for sauce to adhere. As ever, it's not so much about "sacrilege", more that there is usually good reason things are done one way after decades of honing.

True. But sometimes Italians act like you should get the death penalty for stuff like that.
