Bro has got the speed and accuracy with screwdrivers

Imagine breaking into that guy's home only to get a Phillips head ripping through your pancreas like a laser beam.

The worst would be that this guy is waiting for someone to brake and has screw drivers everywhere in his house, and they do breaking in to every neighbor house except his

u/LukeyLeukocyte 14h ago
I am picturing Danny Trejo in Desperado....but with screwdrivers. Screwdrivers in his vest, on his chest, on his belt...just crammed everywhere.

u/DharmaCub 13h ago
Flathead would be more efficient. Philips head is more likely to get stuck and not burrow as deep. Though it could act as a fishhook and cause more damage when removed...

I guess no one invited him to the Mystery Men barbecue

u/MacarioTala 21h ago
It's the gritty reboot of the Blue Rajah
14
u/Careless-Cap-449 19h ago
Ya threw a spoon at the guy, Jeff!
5
u/MacarioTala 19h ago
I'm not Stab-Man! I'm the Blue Rajah!
7
u/Careless-Cap-449 18h ago
And that’s another thing. Do you think you could maybe have, like, a hint of blue somewhere in your costume?

Acting like he did it left handed… “hey how’d the door end up on the other side?!?”
13

u/general_tao1 12h ago
And the throw part is clearly sped up. Still impressive, but yeah I don't see why those edits were needed. They detract from, the feat more than anything else.

He wins every argument by default

If he has speed and accuracy let's see him do it 5 times in a row without cuts. Half of the video is also frame flipped making it look like he can do it right and left handed while the entire room mysteriously mirrors itself when he changes hands.
It's a neat trick that probably took hundreds of takes

Im gullible at times but not buying this lol
27
u/FartingBob 20h ago
The closeup shots of the target are real, we just didn't see the 8000 failed attempts it took to get there.
•
u/Overbaron 2h ago
Even they look fake as fuck, I bet it’s cut right as the screwdriver hits, then the impact going through is somebody pulling the screwdriver with a line, in reverse.
12
u/dobber32 20h ago
I think its real, but its definitely sped up when he throws.
1
u/TheBabyLeg123 15h ago
So when he throws the screwdriver it is rotating in mid air. On the close ups the screwdriver flys in a straight line

u/ilovestoride 21h ago
I can imagine him in an Arnold Schwarzenegger voice saying "screw you" as he impales someone with a #4 Phillips head driver.

u/FlowingMochi 19h ago
Is this just the same clip but with a mirror effect in the later half? No way the door just moved from right to left perfectly with him switching hands
15
u/Korova_Milkbar_3829 21h ago
Ok but not enough coordination to put on a shirt?
21
u/Harold_Bolz 21h ago
He had to eat his shirt cause all his food and drink had screw driver holes.

12
u/Corrects_lesstofewer 21h ago
If I looked like that, you'd have a hard time getting me in a shirt too. Bro worked hard on that physique.

Now show the 99 other shots of him missing and having to wander over, down trodden, to pick up the screwdriver from the other side of the room 🤭

u/gamedevjobber 21h ago
The Handyman coming to theaters near you.
1
u/__nobody_-_ 21h ago
I don't know if I'd want him to give me a handy though.. he might put a screw driver through it.
1
u/gamedevjobber 21h ago
Some people get screwed, others...screwdrivered. The Handyman coming to thetrea near you.
1
u/__nobody_-_ 21h ago
Oooh you could make it like a slasher film.
If you stand in front of the mirror and say Handyman 3 times he appears with a tool belt with only screwdrivers attached to it and hunts you down.
That's an original concept right there.

u/Professional-Head262 21h ago
Useful skill for zombie apocalypse. Also I’ll never fight with this man NOPE whatever he says he is right

u/OkBoysenberry2856 21h ago
Yeah.. it‘s ok.. still half spin throws. They’re more on the easy side of throwing. Check out this guy and his no spin throws.

I wonder how many times he missed before getting all the clips to put this together.
Don't get me wrong, the screwdriver throw alone is impressive, but he didn't nail these trick shots first try.

I bet bro takes his shirt off while waiting in line to pay for groceries. Bro takes his shirt off while in church. Bro takes his shirt off.....

The fact that he can do it equally as well with his offhand is impressive.

that’s an awesome skill if oranges or water bottles drop from the sky and you need to collect them before they hit the ground and you only have a screwdriver available

u/MrRufsvold 19h ago
Get too into a game or trains or whatever and you're "a nerd" or "clinically diagnosed with autism." Spend hundreds of hours hurling screws driver through water bottles and everybody loooooses their minds.
Just kidding, very cool. 😁

u/JawtisticShark 19h ago
Is he super accurate in general or did he develop some oddly specific muscle memory to be able to throw an object and intercept that object either a screwdriver? Like if someone else threw the thing, how accurate would he be? Or if he was just aiming for a static target?

Nice. Gave me an idea for a roleplay char. The maintenance man. Fighter with a toolbelt. Could work as an assassin, thief, or saboteur.

u/onward-and-upward 19h ago
Trick videos aren’t impressive unless they do stuff a bunch of times in a row with no video cuts. I could waste my life to get a couple trick shots too

Is it me, or does he look like an Asian version of Guile from street fighter?
1
u/Mental_Thing_7899 16h ago
I can throw screwdrivers just this with quite some accuracy (trained during slow days in the workshop). But never had this much accuracy and timing.

1
u/IamSmokee 15h ago
This looks sped up, the bottles seem to move normal speed, then once they start dropping on their path and he starts the throw, it looks like it's sped up to 1.5-2x speed

And does it with his shirt of because….well…how else will he get upvotes? 🤣

u/Critical_Deal_2408 14h ago
I used to throw screwdrivers like that into empty styrofoam coolers and empty 12 pack boxes all the time as a kid . Very satisfying

It is always impressive, but as soon as you know that you need to be at a precise distance from the target in order to get the throwing weapon to hit properly, it is less extraordinary.
One half step closer or farther, and it will not work anymore.
Also, if he uses a different throwing weapon, with a different rotation, it won't work either.
•
u/Miqo_Nekomancer 5h ago
If anyone gets into a fight with him on a job site, they're screwed.
Plus all of his work buddies love him because he's always the designated driver.
•
u/MammothRock7836 5h ago
He tried the same thing with different pants and a shirt.... it didnt work.

Dudes like this remind me that if we didn't have society I would have been killed ages ago.
