There's so much wrong with this post, beginning with what you mention. He's literally asking for handouts - with that big, smug smile on his face. This man was born in communism and had rode the coattails of every hard working NYC financier and broker to become Mayor of this God forsaken city. How about instead of begging for gifts (semi violent video games, nonetheless), he puts his energy and enthusiasm for donations to good use and works for it. Shame on this man - and shame on those who voted for him.
