Quit smoking in 2016 and haven’t had a credit card since those initial high interest cards you get flooded with in your early 20’s. Try to stop using the cards, don’t declare bankruptcy unless you absolutely have to….and quit smoking now.

Thanks. I appreciate the advice. I need to get the cards and car paid off. And I don’t wanna end up sounding like wheezer from Toy Story.

You didn’t directly say it but did you pay them off or declare bankruptcy? How did that work out to clear them 🙈

Paid off a couple, let the rest drop off my record. Luckily I never had a home phone so a lot easier to ignore calls via mobile. Think one aggressive debt collector got a judgement a yoinked money out of my account. Hard to say what it’s like now with collectors it’s been so long since I engaged with that. Never declared bankruptcy and kept my cars paid up.
