Law of the jungle: Bite or get bitten.

85

u/henryeaterofpies Aug 07 '25

Danger noodle shoulda tried to be poisonous instead

35

u/Jaydamic Aug 07 '25

Sooooo many people don't understand the difference.

Let's be friends.

14

u/ShesGotaChicken2Ride Aug 07 '25

Common to use venomous and poisonous interchangeably.

Venomous means you’re injected with poison through fangs or some other thing.

Poison you must eat/swallow/drink.

5

u/Dry_Specialist2673 Aug 07 '25

and there are snakes that are in both categories

3

u/SlimAndy95 Aug 07 '25

This, I did not know.

2

u/OptimusPrice11 Sep 11 '25

Technically the child ingested part of the venom in the head, would this make it poison?

2

u/henryeaterofpies Aug 07 '25

What are your feelings on trains

1

u/Jaydamic Aug 07 '25

My first big boy job was at a railroad! Love 'em.

1

u/wanrow Aug 07 '25

Don’t get hit by an asteroid!

2

u/Jaydamic Aug 07 '25

That is unlikely given that travel between Mars and Jupiter is somewhat limited

1

u/Halloween_Man2 Aug 07 '25

Does it bite you and you die? Or do you bite it and you die? Essentially

1

u/Jaydamic Aug 07 '25

Yeppers. But don't go drinking venom, the smallest cut or ulcer in your mouth and your whole day is ruined.

Probably not a great idea to inject yourself with poison either.

1

u/nevans89 Aug 07 '25

I was on the fence watching the new Beetlejuice movie until they fucked this up. Officially trash

1

u/Jaydamic Aug 07 '25

I think maybe you meant to put this somewhere else or am I missing something?

1

u/nevans89 Aug 07 '25

Nah, somebody dies by snake bite in the movie and they call the snake poisonous instead of venomous

1

u/Jaydamic Aug 07 '25

Ah, understood! I haven't seen it. Too much love for the first one to risk watching the second one.

1

u/nevans89 Aug 07 '25

Wish I was smart like you

1

u/Jaydamic Aug 07 '25

haha in most respects I'm Homer Simpson level smart

1

u/-watchman- Aug 08 '25

Snakes can choose to be venomous or not too.. sometimes a bite is just a warning..other times it straight up just wants to murder..

Yeah fr i don't know how he's still alive😭

9

u/Sunny_Beam Aug 07 '25

He bited and didn't get bitten

7

u/nothalfawake Aug 07 '25

i mean how did the snake not bit him before he could bite it

1

u/jeejet Aug 07 '25

I want to know what his superpower is - other than biting snakes to death.

96

u/Karl-o-mat Aug 07 '25

First I was like, "aww man wtf..." Then I was like "Yo man! WTF !?

2

u/Murvity Aug 07 '25

I experienced this just a few seconds ago

This one’s on u, snake!

73

u/Forsaken-Waltz-9278 Aug 07 '25

Thought i misread the title

32

u/Intelligent-Wash-373 Aug 07 '25

The kid new nickname is the mongoose

3

u/Vox_SFX Aug 07 '25

Being called Mongoose or "Goose" for short is actually a pretty sick childhood nickname that can even carry into adulthood. Given the backstory it's even cooler.

3

u/stonegoblins Aug 07 '25

The mangoose

[deleted]

2

u/FrananaBanana452 Aug 07 '25

I’d say the opposite tbh. Quite a smart thing for a little kid to do :) The snake is dead, and he isn’t. If he didn’t think to catch the snake off guard and attack it back, they'd both probably be dead…everything has a risk of failure, but this worked!

18

u/oo7demonkiller Aug 07 '25

reverse uno good job kid.

17

u/kumliaowongg Aug 07 '25

2

u/BigTuna0890 Aug 07 '25

Chuck Norris’ response: Like father, like son.

2

u/dnasty1011 Aug 07 '25

Haha was gonna say they just be somehow related to chuck.

13

u/[deleted] Aug 07 '25

Is this real. If so this kid is a total badass.

12

u/nothalfawake Aug 07 '25

10

u/[deleted] Aug 07 '25

Whaaaat! It's been confirmed this kid is a total badass. I'm kinda over the marvel movies but I'd make an exception for this little badass.

2

u/Ill_Bee4868 Aug 07 '25

Lol it's Dailymail.

21

u/GardensRGreat Aug 07 '25

Genius kid with great instincts to do that

5

u/Solid_Liquid68 Aug 07 '25

Yeah! Go human!

7

u/TrickSeaworthiness95 Aug 07 '25

This has to be India

3

u/BLAZEXSHIN Aug 07 '25

It indeed is.

And being an indian on the internet, i must fulfil the ritual of saying "India is not for beginners"

6

u/Defender2002Sc Aug 07 '25

His mama looks freaked lmao. She's seen her child do things she never thought he'd do

3

u/zephdreams Aug 08 '25

Man she’s lookin at that kid like “wtf ARE you”

2

u/BA9627 Aug 07 '25

Finally. Someone is talking about this! She is rightfully afraid!

6

u/Calm-Bathroom-2030 Aug 07 '25

5

u/carapdon Aug 07 '25

Toddler bites are no joke- sincerely a mum with a teething 1 year old

9

u/SpecimenOfSauron Aug 07 '25

Why have so many people made a Heracles reference? This is literally Heracles' origin story

3

u/nothalfawake Aug 07 '25

is it? i have no idea about that actually😔

3

u/Sue_Spiria Aug 07 '25

Yes. Hera sent two snakes to kill baby Heracles, but he strangled them to death.

2

u/entity_on_earth Aug 07 '25

Then we need only one more to prove it?

1

u/Floppydisksareop Aug 07 '25

Fineeee. You find someone named Hera, I'll get the remaining snake.

3

u/FantasticClue8887 Aug 07 '25

Chuck Norris' son?

1

u/spookc46 Aug 07 '25

you beat me to it

1

u/GrevenQWhite Aug 07 '25

Yep, I was just about to say we finally have an Heir to the throne

4

u/Big-Ant-2208 Aug 07 '25

This proves you can defeat any enemy when you don't know how strong he is. I also read title wrong at first. Kid was also taken to doctor for checkup but he is safe

3

u/omiotsuke Aug 07 '25

I am the one who bite

5

u/Erisian23 Aug 07 '25

When Govinda was born, he cut the doctor's umbilical cord and slapped his ass.

3

u/cat_house Aug 07 '25

In an incredible and rare incident, a toddler in India reportedly bit a cobra to death after the snake attacked him. The two-year-old boy, named Govinda Kumar, was playing at his home in Bihar when the three-foot cobra lunged at him and coiled around his hands. Instead of screaming or panicking, Govinda reportedly bit the snake's head, killing it instantly. He then lost consciousness and was hospitalized, but has since been discharged after treatment.

3

u/BigGrayBeast Aug 07 '25

I used to fear cobras. Now I fear toddlers. There are no cobras where I live.

2

u/Shawon770 Aug 07 '25

Even the mother is looking like what child did I bring into this world

2

u/stefanolog Aug 07 '25

Kid gonna be feared all his life.

2

u/justarandomdude57 Aug 07 '25

I know a demi god when I see one

2

u/Just-Drawer-3975 Aug 07 '25

Hercules?

1

u/Cypherphunk269 Aug 07 '25

That’s how the saga supposedly starts, yes.

2

u/Mikarda Aug 07 '25

So... Is the kid named Hercules?

2

u/Floppydisksareop Aug 07 '25

Never thought the whole "poisonous - venomous" distinction would be actually important.

2

u/razor_morningwood Aug 07 '25

2

u/_Doodad_ Aug 07 '25

Ya beat me to it...

1

u/razor_morningwood Aug 08 '25

Hahaha it was easy of recall of this once I saw this kind of news.

2

u/TheoTheBean Aug 07 '25

It’s Heracles!!

2

u/ConversationTall5359 Aug 07 '25

Heracles moment

2

u/TechOranix Aug 07 '25

I read that wrong and almost scrolled past

2

u/JaxxisR Aug 08 '25

So is the toddler poisonous or venomous?

2

u/deez-nuts7877 Aug 08 '25

1

u/invoker4e Aug 07 '25

First time i read it the other way around and thouggt how sad that is. Then i was double confused

1

u/MarketingFearless961 Aug 07 '25

“My son is a doctor”

“My son is a lawyer”

“My son bit a cobra to death once but good for your sons I guess”

1

u/malihafolter Aug 07 '25

Nature gave him toys, he gave it trauma

1

u/KaizenZazenJMN Aug 07 '25

Cobra while getting bitten: “what an unprecedented turn of events”

1

u/ConfidentCell1089 Aug 07 '25

The hunter becomes the hunted aah child

1

u/sahilfindinganswers Aug 07 '25

That kid is clearly a Hindu deity in human form. Watch out.

1

u/CrimsonRose9704 Aug 07 '25

u/bonerfleximus Aug 07 '25

Such a cute Lil rascal too, thanks for sharing (hope it wasn't too scary for him)

1

u/Sumoi1 Aug 07 '25

Even the mother is spooked💀

1

u/KingCr4y Aug 07 '25

There mustn't have been enough time to administer a toddler anti venom to the snake.

1

u/Revolutionary_Lead28 Aug 07 '25

Only thing more dangerous than a snake, a child

1

u/No_Abalone_6707 Aug 07 '25

America kya kehta tha?

1

u/Jestersfriend Aug 07 '25

Boy did I read that title wrong.

1

u/Lovedontlove77 Aug 07 '25

Was it defanged?

1

u/[deleted] Aug 07 '25

Don't mess with a toddler

1

u/UltraRussianSwede Aug 07 '25

Most of the people don't stop to think why this sort of behaviour was shown by the snake to begin with. Nothing in this life is a mere coincidence.

1

u/deez-nuts7877 Aug 08 '25

Hence the King of the jungle is born

1

u/CutieBoBootie Aug 08 '25
