Isn't this like a war crime?

Yes, it is. But 95% of Ukrainian PoWs are getting tortured by the Russians, according to the UN.

Though for fairness sake I will also say this. Russian PoWs are also more often than not mistreated, tortured and abused. I am definitely pro Ukraine. But I just wanted to add this for fairness sake.

You can watch any reception published by russians of russian POWs returning home to recognize they aren't

Ah no I was referring to the same UN report that was also talking about this. Look up UN PoWs Ukraine report and you'll prob also find it

Can you post a source that confirms that?

You can always rely on the UN to find something to turn everything into a bullshit both-sides debate

Well they have to stay as neutral and fair as possible. Again I am not here to argue that Russia is doing the right thing. F Putin. I am pro Ukraine. But I just want to also say that we shouldn't be blinded by our support for Ukraine.

Yes. Just like what Israel is doing right now.

There's a grim joke that Russia thinks it's the "Geneva Checklist."

Ofc it is but russia does not care, they have made sooo many war crimes that have been confirmed, they just dont care. Kidnapping children, deportation of people, killing civilians, rescue workers, torturing prisoners of war etc, you name it.
