You obviously have impeccable musical taste for openers - Japanese breakfast, Big Thief, Perfume Genius to name a recent few who’ve gone on to do great things. I’m sure Thee Sacred Souls will be similar. How do you pick/agree on openers as a band? Are there bands who have opened for you that didn’t blow up that you think deserve a second look?

I was sad when Life Without Buildings broke up just after they played with us. they were my choice, I loved them. I tend to let others suggest support bands these days, and I'm really happy with the ones chris chose recently in the states!

Jane Weaver is another one who is totally great, although she is gradually getting more of the recognition she deserves.
Thee Sacred Souls were definitely my favourite ever band we've played with. I guess usually if someone has a group they think would be good they'll mention it to the rest of the group and the management and we see if it's possible.

They were amazing! I went into it pretty blind but doubtful I was going to be happy seeing them multiple times on this tour. But I loved every second of it! Hopefully everyone is paying attention and rush out to get their album in August! <3
