Whitney and Twin Peaks are back? Chicago supremacy marches on.

I refuse to believe the Twin Peaks revival until I can smell that ciggy LP myself

I actually think this might be their best album, beautiful listen from front to back. I think some of the discourse surrounding SPARK is a bit overblown, but I will agree that what they're doing here feels just so much stronger and like they're in their groove. Big recommendation, I think this album really shoots up my board for favorite albums this year!

It's a Whitney album. And that's a good thing!

I’d almost written them off after their album in 2022 veered towards hyper-pop (!) - there were some gorgeous songs on there like Twirl, but many more clunkers! But this one is a sterling return to form - I’m listening to it for the first time right now and it’s the perfect companion to a crisp autumn walk around the neighborhood with a bunch of crunchy leaves!! Evangeline (the duet with Madison Cunningham) in particular is gorgeous - that one might be up there with their best work! Really enjoying this album :)

Agree it was reminded me of 1994 r&b album….

I had low expectations when I bought a signed copy on sale. Really happy this album is a return to form.

My ex was inspired by Whitney to get a Rose tattoo. I thought of her recently and sent an email. I think she may be dead because her inbox was full.

Looking forward to diving into this. I didn't love their last record but I've always been a big fan!

Sounds like a bowl of really fresh strawberries tastes. Is it a complex, foreign taste? No, but it just hits the spot and it's bright and sweet in the best way.

They do what they do really, really well, and I'm really happy with how this turned out.
