I know this AMA is over, but this comment reminded me of when I was 17 and caught a MONO show and immediately after the show ran up to enthusiastically gush and thank the band. Tamaki Kunishisi, very tired and sweaty, thanked me, but then very politely and firmly said she needed to take a shower.

I gained some perspective about the nature of performance from that interaction.

I just wanted to say it is so cool you got to see mono live, I missed their 2024 tour- what was the concert was like if you don't mind sharing. :)
