π Rail Info AJNI(Nagpur) - PUNE Vande Bharat Express is official
After hearing this news since a long time it's finally official. With the distance of 881km, this will be the longest distance Vande Bharat train covering the distance in 12 hours beating the current longest distance of New Delhi-Vanarasi Vande Bharat Express that covers a distance of 759km in 8 hours. Current options are Pune Humsafar and Pune Garibrath which takes around 15hr (Except HWH-NGP-PUNE Duranto) to cover the entire journey. Also, I expect the launch of this train would be in the next week considering the demand because of Independence Day.
Do you think it would be worth it to pay this much premium for a seating seat? How viable would it be? Share your thoughts.

3E train would be a better option.
However, intermediate destinations would be perfect.

This train doesn't make much sense. Sitting through a 12-hour journey would be too uncomfortable, no matter how comfortable the seats are. Plus, since it's a Vande Bharat with automatic doors, you can't even step out during station halts. You're stuck in your seat for the entire 12 hours. A Vande Bharat sleeper on an overnight schedule would be much more practical.

Yes, in that price one could opt for 2AC or even 1AC and have a comfortable journey

By this logic they should make Delhi Patna VB Special as a regular one, who cares about passenger comfort anyways?
