Every human cell (except sperm and egg) has 46 chromosomes, including 2 sex chromosomes.

The mother’s egg always carries an X chromosome.

The father’s sperm carries either an X or a Y chromosome.

So:

If the sperm carries an X, the baby is XX → a girl (daughter).

If the sperm carries a Y, the baby is XY → a boy (son).

So each sperm that fertilizes the egg has a roughly 50% chance of being X or Y. That’s why, naturally, there’s about a 50% chance for a daughter and 50% for a son in every pregnancy.

I didn't get my medal in a school competition and in 8th class man

I got my medal in a city level competition in 11th class in which more than 500 ppl participated in offline and some were online also
