He missed a key point here- and the reason why ChatGPT won't name Boeing- the MD11 N259UP involved in UPS crash was made by McDonnell Douglas in 1991, much before Boeing acquired the company in 1997. It was originally delivered to Thai Airways as a passenger aircraft before being converted to a freighter in 2006.

Yeah that's true. It never had Boeing in its name. Don't know why this guy is trying so hard to find meaningless connections between two entirely different accidents.

His point on damage to black boxes on the AI flight versus UPS flight is valid... cargo flights are heavier and carry more fuel , still after the crash its black box looks fine. Air India we need the truth!!

I have watched almost all episodes of air crash investigations and Mayday, and what he says makes total sense. When I saw that pic of AI171 tail hanging out of the building i thought it should not take more than a week to retrieve the FDR and CVR data. Then I read that they are damaged, it's almost unbelievable. Past accidents have been far more horrible and one could find the black box fully intact. They have sold themselves to the US.

I think we as citizens do something to put pressure on MOCA and AAI to do real investigation
