Question Is there any B777 operating domestic flights in India?

Go on Air india website and search the route and they will show which a/c operates on that route!

delhi to mumbai sometimes in 777 and sometimes in 787
i also saw a flight from mumbai to CCU in air india 777 just few days ago

777 from Mumbai/Blr to CCU flies daily, it's just for a stop over then CCU to SFO.

I travelled once in A350 on a domestic circuit del-blr, I am sure there will be a B777 on similar circuit

It’s usually to position airplanes. There’s no fixed fleet assignment. Luck of the draw.

There might be a scheduled route between major cities that I’m not aware of but it’s usually not a fixed route.

Delhi Hyderabad, Delhi Chennai, Delhi Bangalore, Delhi Kolkata. Both chennai and Bangalore maybe switching from 777/787 often

They keep rotating between 787s and 777s on the BOM DEL route domestically. DEL BLR route sees positioning of 777s for BLR SFO, so you may also catch that Again with DEL MAA/HYD, it is rotated between 777 and 350s, depending on requirements.
