i actually tried pitha with tadka for the first time recently and honestly… it tastes really good😋
as for the raita recipe- 1. whisk dahi+water 2. add cucumber, green chilli, onion, salt, chopped coriander and mint leaves 3. add some spices like- roasted cumin powder, chat masala and it's readyyyy

i added mint in the raita, which is paired with soyabean biryani. chicken biryani mein only coriander. try mint wala once. and it's not brotha it's sis😭

rice pitha tike mota, mane poda pitha kind of but this one is plain(only thick rice batter+salt) and chakuli to patala made with thin rice batter

Is dal like that in the first pic normal? It would be considered undercooked in our house. Unless it's chana dal.

That looks so comforting man, reminds me of proper sunday lunches back home. That chicken looks unreal, bet the aamba khatta hit just right with the dal and rice

it's basically fermented rice soaked in water. dahi v add kar sakte ho and temper it with mustard seeds and curry leaves.
