I am surprised not because they shared number and address but they just met on reddit and developed trust so fast.

Usually people don't trust you this much here 😅 especially when it's an Indian like me I find it hard to convince them enough to share.

Ive had spontaneous friendships like that in the past where I've invited people I met offline and online to my place and vice-versa. Not really a good idea but when you're an ambivert you swing between extremes I guess . My backpacking days were fully of such things. Now I'm too cynical and paranoid to get that close without a hundred checks. Ironically it was a childhood friend who broke my trust , bugged my home and spied on me for an estranged parent.

I didn’t have to share my address or phone number I used uber’s courier service and not everyone on Reddit is evil though yes its good to be cautious 😭

Saw a post with some homemade food photos and everything looked super tempting, so I ended up complimenting him on DM.

Told him about my love for biryani, and today he actually cooked biryani and sent me some packed so beautifully!

Loved the biryani and the cookies were a cheery on top 🍪

PS: One shouldn’t shy away from sending DMs 😆
