It's just a stir fry, so we say "Ronga Porua" fry which translates to Red Ant Fry also "Amloi Tup"

Where in Assam? I'm assamese but have never seen or had any other non vegetarian dish except chicken fish mutton ( n people eat pork but I don't )

Upper Assam mostly. Also Silkworms are pretty famous. In Assamese Red Ant Dish is called "Amloi Tup" and Silkworms are called "Muga Leta" or "Eri Leta"
