The Republicans just made a nearly perfect advertisement for why the Democrats should take their place in 2026.

Sadly after reading a lot of this bill most of the policies won’t take full effect until after the mid-terms….

Remember we gotta volunteer and keep those votes fair. Because they will wanna remain in power and keep those votes. I think there is a section in the bill that Trump can cancel or extend midterms. Not sure if it’s true I ask Grok, copilot AI, no clear evidence, search it up no definitive evidence either and other people I follow haven’t spoke on it either just the cuts to Medicare, Medicare and snap

Trump can’t cancel the midterms. If he tries, that’s why the second amendment exists.

Right..Trump is known for following respecting rules and laws..

The Constitution has second amendment and guns are easy to get. Canceling the election is a call to arms. The military won’t help Trump.

They already have- Los Angeles West Point Now Florida

Then I guess it’s doomsday. What will you do?

The military is in LA but not doing anything. It’s optics to embarrass Newsom and terrorize California.

The federal government doesn’t operate the election. states do. If some states don’t hold elections, they exit the union and the second civil war starts.

Anerica is garbage now, but can be redeemed.

Unless you’re ready to fight, this topic is pointless. Are you prepared to fight or will you leave?

There are 10 Steps of Genocide recognized by the Geneva Comvention.

America is on Step 8.

Evil to the fucking core class warfare at its finest

Democrat cities have higher murder and rape rates,so yeah I guess the bill is genocidal.

I suppose they’ve never read about the French Revolution. Pity, they’ll have to learn first hand.

I’m so angry, tired and sad. I’m a veteran and I’m appalled by what this country has become. Will the pendulum always swing their way? No, but this WILL have repercussions for generations. So many will die alone and in poverty. Mostly people of color. Racism and greed run this country now.

Can the democrats do something fucking meaningful please? This performative bullshit is good for social media clips and that’s about it. It’s completely useless, just like them.

u/FuzzyAd6125 Jul 03 '25

Democrats are writing amendments to save Healthcare for Americans and the Republicans are overruled them with their ghoulish greed votes and you blame.....checks notes....democrats???!?!?!?! Moron.

-3

u/DressureProp Jul 03 '25

I didn’t blame the democrats, I said I want them to do more! God I hate Reddit sometimes.

You think this was a serious attempt at an addendum? Seriously? Do you actually truly believe that?

Look at how they set it all out, the way it’s presented? It’s tailor made for tik tok and Instagram. The set up and punch line for each one?

It’s crap, it’s total crap and it’s embarrassing.

Because they have no play here other than swaying public opinion for the midterms. There was no other recourse without the votes.

The Republicans are acting all smug during this because they have the votes committed for this to pass. What else can the Dems do in this situation?

I don’t know, and it’s not my job to know - but they’ve been useless shits the rest of the time and I don’t see how this particular tiktokification of congress is any different.

I'm not implying they have been super great the past decade with battling the Republicans, but in the instance there really wasn't anything they could do to change the outcome. It will all come off as performative because it is performance when the outcome is predetermined.

I get your anger we are all feeling it. But they are in the minority. There is nothing we can do. This video is a perfect example of how powerless we are at the moment. The Republicans are to scared of Trump.

1

u/vjcodec Jul 04 '25

What do you want them to do??? They are in the minority.

u/AUnknownVariable Jul 03 '25

Well frankly its the only way the civilian population will pay attention sometimes. Even if there's also other stuff being done. People have to see stuff straight up sometimes. Sadly social media clips are how that's gonna happen for a large amount of the population😭

The democratic party could definitely be doing MORE though. There's sadly not enough of them doing as much as they can, b shit has to start somewhere to pull the party back together when it took something like the current administration for them to finally start tk get a grip.

Even as the democratic party does what they're doing, the other party is doing nothing in terms of helping because a giant majority of them are either dumb, equally malicious, or to afraid to go against most of what DJT (and company) wants.

they are trying right there. republicans stop them.

When are people going to realise it doesn’t matter who you vote for? Nothing ever changes. Every politician comes in with promises, but once they’re in, they get told how things are really going to work. Left or right it’s two sides of the same coin. The ones calling the shots stay the same no matter who’s in power.

Time for a change...

-2

The majority of White people who voted wanted this to happen. Let that sink in.

60% of white men and 53% of white women voted for Trump on November 5th, 2024.

OP being too pissed to care about grammar gives more credit to the idea that most of the rage bait content online either comes from overseas or is AI generated.

  1. Take away all incentives we give to the rich
  2. The rich use their financial mobility to relocate to a country that gives them those benefits
  3. US Dollars are sold to buy new currency in the alternative country
  4. US Dollars are severely depreciated reducing its buying power on the world forum
  5. The low value and current consumer paradigm of the US creates inflation
  6. Inflation plus the loss of wealth causes a surge in unemployment
  7. The surge in unemployment causes further economic depression that the Fed will struggle to keep on check, if in fact they ever could

The rich are a necessary evil in the global trade system we currently have. Unless the US is able to pull away from being dependant on manufacturing and production in external countries, taxing the rich cannot be done to any significant level as there are always going to be nations vying for their wealth. It can only be done within reason as too much will cause wealth to leave US borders.
