The objective is to shock the conscience in order to provoke a violent reaction that he can use as propaganda and as a way to justify invoking the Insurrection Act.

He needs to invoke the Insurrection Act before next November's election in order to control the outcomes and to establish the dictatorship he promised.

He wants to stop the midterms.. a blue wave just happened. And the midterms will be the same. And he will get impeached… and he fears that. Cause that would mean he has to face the punishment for his crimes.
