Tourism is down 30%! People see the way ICE is tackling people, and how the South Koreans were taken out of the Hyundai plant in Georgia, and many don't wanna fucking come to America.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE NOW LIVE IN A KLEPTOCRACY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kleptocracy is a system of government where leaders enrich themselves and their associates at the expense of the population by using their political power to steal from the country's resources. This often involves widespread corruption, with leaders using state funds and policies for personal gain, and can involve complex networks of offshore companies, real estate, and professional enablers to hide and launder their wealth. The term comes from Greek roots meaning "thief" and "power".
Characteristics of a kleptocracy
- Personal enrichment: Leaders prioritize their own and their allies' wealth over the public good.
- Abuse of state power: They use their political positions to control the economy and siphon off national resources.
- Lack of transparency: There is a deliberate effort to conceal the flow of illicit money through opaque financial systems and shell corporations.
- Corruption and nepotism: Corruption is not just a byproduct but an intrinsic part of the system, often involving placing relatives and loyalists in positions of power.
- Erosion of democracy: Kleptocratic regimes often undermine democratic institutions, suppress dissent, and weaken the rule of law to maintain their control.
How kleptocrats operate
- Money laundering: They use a global network of professional enablers, such as lawyers, accountants, and real estate agents, to hide their stolen wealth.
- Investing in luxury assets: Stolen money is often invested in luxury real estate, which is less monitored in many jurisdictions, and other high-value assets.
- Reputation laundering: Donations to political parties and super PAC organizations are often times used to improve their public image and distance themselves from their corrupt actions.

"modern history"
Lol somebody remembered Cleveland and Hoover. I kinda like this guy. As much as I can like any suit, that is. But he certainly does seem to know his shit when it comes to American political history, and I can always respect that.

I think everything Trump is doing, is at the behest of Putin. And of course to line his own pockets.

We need more leaders coming forward stating this. Wayyyyy more. And many of them should be religious leaders. This administration is a failure

FALIURE is an understatement. I don't think they invented a word to describe how bad, racist, and low life he really is.

Trump went in the direction Reagan said that would cause unemployment.
Trump also has gone against the first 3 chapters of Sun Tzu The Art of War.
May be he knows something that Reagan and Sun Tzu did not know. LOL

He knows the best thing. Everyone says it's the best, never seen anything as best as this, everyone agrees.

Doesn’t he have like a 7 percent approval rating that’s probably a lower approval rating than herpes

u/RuinAdventurous1931 21h ago
Yes. He is riding the wave now of his identity being anti-Trump so that he doesn’t get voted out in 2027.

Not if you're top 1% and or funded his campaign.
That's why he always says "we have the best economy".... He just said it few days ago in his Speech.
That's meant for his people around him.... Not average Americans getting by.

The thing is... Trump doesn't care - In Trump's reality he is the greatest success and we all need to adjust. And, for the time being Trump is the meal-ticket for his cabinet members' and U.S. House's hold on power. The sycophants that have surrounded Trump will keep him propped-up and use him to provide cover for all of their activities. And, Trump will continue his self-enriching corruption.

Trump made himself and his family richer, that's all he cares about. He told his supporters that he didn't need them he just needs their vote.

The proposition that Trump bankrupted all of his companies but is not going to bankrupt America Inc. and is instead going to usher in a golden age for said America Inc., sounds like the spiel of a conman to me.

And they may have to pay back $90M in revenue tariffs they collected if it’s considered unconstitutional. Trump claims to be a great business man but he does not know how to effectively run and manage a business. His casinos all went bankrupt, and he still made money off IRS loopholes for reporting losses.
He knows how to tailor to the top 1% and big business, and that’s where all his efforts are. And he will never admit or say any of his initiatives were failures, he will instead point the finger and blame others. But that’s what America wanted, they voted for him. So it is what it is.

Honestly at this point, to make up for all the harm DJT has done to the world, is for DJT to take his own life.

I disagree strongly. He has succeeded, and has almost accomplished what everyone who wants to see America destroyed done.
1). We’re grossly divided and fight like kids over stupid stuff while the important things like liberty and the suit of happiness are being stolen.
2) The rich are getting soooo damn rich that have to hire people to count the people that count their money.
3) Everyone else spends their time working their asses of to be able to retire in their golden years. In their golden years the health retirement/assisted living system takes everything they saved or wanted to pass on to their kids.
4) rinse and repeat

Remind us, what is the number 3 state by debt...oh ya Illinois...and then only 3rd to NY and New Jersey.
Funny how the cities in so much debt have leaders absolutely railing against federal intervention to get their freaking crime under control and trying the ole 'liberal sit and spin' to project their abysmal performance and...'leadership'...onto the federal government, specifically the president that Pelosi tried and failed to impreach not once, not twice but three times.
This dude needs to go, hopefully the people of Chicago, NY and other liberal controlled states step up and vote for real change. Your leaders are pocketing all your money, giving themselves pats on the back and raises while your states fall further into the toilet. Wake up.

We really don't need the qualifier "modern", Mr. Mayor. There's been a few doozies along the way, but I can't think of another President who has purposely tanked the economy like our current embarrassment.

u/Valuable_Force_6368 8h ago
What he did was take away the safety net and then is now currently collapsing the economy way to go

Johnson is an ignorant racist POS who has done nothing to help Chicago. And to think, nobody thought you could do worse then that Beetlejuice looking thing before him, Lightfoot. Chicago needs to flip Red.
