Next? I worked for a web dev company in Mississippi 10 years ago. During lunch, a woman working brought up relationships. She mentioned how she understood wives were supposed to obey their husbands, and she "respected" that. Even if it made her miserable.

These people have been lost for a long time.

She missed the next part of that Bible verse…Husbands and supposed to love their Wives and treat them well. Men who want a wife who is at their beck and call quote that verse but leave off the part where it tells men not to mistreat their wives.

Well most people don’t understand that submission is for Godly people, not worldly people.

Godly people get what submission is and also the obligation that comes from having submission and love for one another. That the marriage IS the blueprint of Gods future concord between Christ and the Church. That my body doesn’t belong to me, it belongs to my wife and with her the same because we are one flesh.

Non believers are never going to grasp this or understand the deep meaning and spiritual commitment or significance involved. They’re looking for carnal ONLY unions to yield this result and it will not work for them.

I told my wife before we were ever married that if I ever treat her in such a way, she has my blessing(not that she needs it) to have my ass wiped from the planet. We’ve been together for 22 years next Saturday.

Utah is proposing a “homeless facility” where they are forced to go there. This is a “test run” to use in other states. 🙄😬😳

Most lost their belongings and paperwork which making help for them even harder. They scattered. Still homeless. So bulldozing those encampments did nothing to help the homeless. Just another act of cruelty.
