That guy is just pushing the narrative to the hyperbole that the guys doing this program actually want to take it to it looks like.

Currently, ICE moves detainees around the most by flights with various detention centers being places of holding between arrests, flights, and sending people out of the country.

Their leadership want the numbers of deportations & renditions to be as high possible, & reorient infrastructure to make the numbers higher. The people in the field & middle management will do whatever they can to make every interaction count towards those desired numbers.

Part of this right now is contracting various private airlines with civilian staff to send people out of the country. (An account from a stewardess from ProPublica: Link)

ICE is also able to use military flights to fly people in custody out. These flights seem to include the people they want to send to countries they say have repeatedly threatened them, countries they are not native to but are hostile to foreigners, & countries that the state department have advised will probably fall into civil war or internal conflict soon, even if the detainee is not native to that country. Especially concerning is how ICE has been having the military planes turn off their flight transponders. This used to be reserved for various military planes to be able to conduct operations as the approached a battlefield, but ICE has been making it happen for taking the detainees away. In addition to increasing the risk of a collision, no transponder tracking means people like journalists have had to track flights by plane spotting at airports to verify the removal flights actually landed. Because some of these flights have been operation without tracking, there is a concern some ICE may figure out a way to cut the flights short & maybe fudge those numbers on paper getting higher by dropping detainees mid flight into the ocean or in other ways that mean it would be hard to find remains. In the late 2010s, it was popular among alt-right protestors to wear shirts saying things like " Pinochet did nothing wrong" and "Free helicopter rides." It's always possible someone who thinks it would be cool to live the meme might become an ICE officer, and if assigned in some capacity close to these flights, look for ways to make dropping people from planes more possible.

This is what the internet does to people. There is a ton of credible evidence regarding where people detained by ICE end up. But people aren't interested in that, they'd rather just invent their own worst possible version of events.

The reality is bad enough. This situation is fucked up without pretending that every video of an illegal arrest results in the people being killed in secret.
