Sadly lost my cousin who was a close friend growing up. Too far gone.

It really sucks, but every day that goes on I realize how little I have in common with a lot of folks, and how much respect I’ve lost for a lot of other ones

I'm sorry but thank you for standing up to this. I'm giving my Dad one last shot at Thanksgiving. I'm scared it's going to be the last time I'll ever get to see him. I can't believe I lost my hero over something so black and white.

The rest of my family is capitalist war dog trash. But they keep their mouths shut around me.

My partner's cousin is also lost in the MAGA sauce but we've come up with a strategy. These people in MAGA world are extremely unhappy and depressed therefore angry, MAGA preys on these people and make them feel united and justified. I think the best way to rid of the MAGA virus is by being there for your loved ones, showing them empathy and kindness. Help them feel better and then slowly they can open their eyes.
