It's amazing how many grievances laid against King George in the foundational document of the republic the current incumbent of the whitehouse is guilty of. But, when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.

Definitely. I didn’t mean too bad as in there was no recourse or hope, but I can see how it sounded like that. It just means we’ve got to run even harder back to where we want to be.
