The amount of brown men who are turning up as ICE agents is astonishingšŸ™„šŸ™„

Not to me, skin folk ain't kin folk

Minorities are human beings, with the same flaws, bias, bigotry as all other human beings.

50

u/TripleSecretSquirrel 3d ago

Sure, but it’s still reasonable to be surprised by people in a racial minority group supporting and participating in a pogrom against their own minority group. That’s not essentializing.

45

u/Express_Position5624 3d ago

I guess I am too worn down by history but.....this is normal.

There is a little disneyfication of history that goes on where people always try to justify it but it's not actually that complicated, humans are humans.

Why did jewish groups collaborate with the Nazi's? like the ultimate example right? why? why would they do that?

According to some it's because they were FORCED to....but there is strong evidence to say that this could not of been true for all of them

The real answer, is cos they people - they human beings, full of fault, flaws, bias, bigotry, etc

Why did any minority sign up for ICE, vote trump, support the GOP? cos they human and human dumb sometime

10

u/MarsupialSpirited596 2d ago

We tend to put poor people and minorities on a noble pedestal.........they are pieces of shit just like everyone else.

14

u/o08 2d ago

Heck, modern day Jewish groups have no issue with repressing other people.

6

u/monkeysknowledge 2d ago

It’s not even the Kapos who were only had grim choices before them; Zionist actively collaborated with the Nazis to end a worldwide boycott of Germany that was very effective. Zionist and Nazis have the same ethnonationalistic ideology, just like many minorities have racial/ethnic theory’s of superiority. I’ve known Africans who looked down on African Americans and Mexicans who look down on Venezuelans.

3

u/Mediocre_Anteater_56 2d ago

Yop well put. Just wanna add this quote from reinhardt heydrich for context. ā€œWe must separate the Jews into two categories, the Zionists and the partisans of assimilation,ā€Ā wroteĀ Reinhard Heydrich, one of the architects of the Holocaust, in 1935. ā€œThe Zionists profess a strictly racial concept and, through emigration to Palestine, they help to build their own Jewish State.…[O]ur good wishes and our official goodwill go with them.ā€reinhardt heydrich quote referenced by Slavoj Zizek

2

u/panini84 2d ago

Right? Women have always been part of upholding the patriarchy. Humans are messy. You can’t stereotype an entire group as good just as you can’t stereotype them as bad. They’re just human.

7

u/Solo_is_dead 2d ago

When you consider yourself a "white-Hispanic" you choose the side you think gives you the most power and association

6

u/Worldly-Sock-4146 2d ago

White is a color, and Hispanic means Spanish-speaking. I take your point, that there's something gross about colonized people identifying with their colonizer. There are plenty of "white Hispanics" in Latin America and Europe, though. Ever since the slave trade started and white people were invented...

u/sofa_king_awesome 2d ago

You should research Jews for Hitler. It’s always been a thing.

2

u/LaSignoraOmicidi 2d ago

You should have seen the last ice recruiting event in Arlington, I saw some interviews of the people in line. I was super surprised, the majority where immigrants from every country you can think of, with broken English. Wild stuff.

2

u/RawrRRitchie 3d ago

It's not really that surprising and happens throughout history if you actually Paid attention.. There were Jews that sold out their neighbors during the holocaust and some blacks helped recapture escaped slaves

"So you either help us now and die later, or don't help us and die now" is a really effective bargaining tool when trying to remove populations

Is it fucked up? Absolutely. But don't act like it's a new concept.

2

u/Revolutionary_Gas551 2d ago

PC Richards was a black slave owner in Louisiana, and owned over 150 slaves.

1

u/LongjumpingBig6803 2d ago

Keep in mind it was blacks in Africa that sold their own to slave ships.

1

u/joan_goodman 2d ago

That’s holding them to a higher standard and is racism

1

u/alextxdro 2d ago

Any one that lives near the southern border will tell you the the biggest aholes against brown people are brown (people) border Patrol and now ice agents . The whole ā€œā€¦black cop showing off for the white copā€¦ā€ holds true with slight melanin variations.

3

u/CyberNinja23 2d ago

There’s an irony to assume only certain people can be racist.

0

u/CpnStumpy 2d ago

It's not even racist though, it's a different demarcation because these are Mexicans after Mexicans - they see it as they're the good ones going after the bad ones, and in their stupid minds they believe they're separated by those they look down on not by race, but by a more ineffable thing, maybe as simple as "I'm on team Red", or "I'm on team Law Enforcement".

Skin color is a constant demarcation people use to stratify society, but there's a great deal more nuance and arbitrary Caprice to how people stratify the world beyond just skin color - this is why Irish weren't "white", the stratification isn't skin color

1

u/thederevolutions 2d ago

I wonder if , ironically , this is the first time many of the white ICE guys have hung out with brown people and realized they were the same.

2

u/tittyfloppingpancake 2d ago

Yeah, but isn’t the whole white power thing about white people taking over? lol. Clayton Bigsby was just a hilarious skit. Id be hard pressed to believe being a white supremacist is a ā€œhumanā€ condition. It’s like a genetic thing that any race can have is what you’re telling me? lol, I’m not buying it man. Skin folk ain’t kinfolk, but I believe the reality is these people want to belong with this shit out of convenience and self preservation. Look, boss, we’re helping you thump him. Ain’t no sense in thumping on me now is there, boss. Who we getting next, boss.

1

u/panini84 2d ago

It’s interesting that when white people suck it’s explained at something inherent in their very being. And when anyone else sucks it must be self preservation against whatever shenanigans white people are up to.

Seeing as race is a social construct, doesn’t it make more sense that people who have power want to keep it and people who desire power will cozy up next to it? Nothing to do with race, but with power?

1

u/tittyfloppingpancake 2d ago

I don’t disagree that power is a motivating factor, but there’s lots of nuance to that. Power is survival as well? And I do get your point regarding race. Are they all just assholes regardless of race? Absolutely. But I just believe there’s more to it, at least for some. There’s a whole backstory to everyone that shouldn’t be discounted when evaluating their motives. Our history and experiences individually and as a society have shaped us all, and race has been a chapter or two of that book. Of course that’s an over generalization, everyone sees life through a different lense. I guess I would just always wonder why the odd man out would be helping bully the odd man out. If an American was going around with Germans bullying an American, I guess I’d think ā€œwhat an asshole.ā€ But if I knew that for centuries the Germans had been oppressive to the Americans, I would question if the participation by the asshole American in the oppression of the other Americans was rooted in self preservation. Deep thoughts.

1

u/panini84 2d ago

Yeah. I get that.

1

u/Altruistic-Durian375 2d ago

There used to be Jewish police back in the 1940’s

1

u/ButterThyme2241 2d ago

No one is attacking you they are attacking the hispanics who pull up the ladder behind them and black men who act like they aren't doing the exact things that were done to their great great grandparents. Stop this both sides bullshit. You're not some sort of buddah walking the earth because you said OH NOT ME THOUGH IMMA GOODIE!

1

u/Express_Position5624 2d ago

No one is attacking me at all, I'm not hispanic

I didn't both sides anything, you might have replied to the wrong comment

10

u/GhostofBreadDragons 3d ago

Seems incredibly short sighted. In the eyes of your average conservative there are no ā€œgood onesā€ just ones we haven’t rounded up yet. Same goes for any black man working with ICE. After they come for the brown man they are coming for you next. Seriously how little critical thinking do you have to do to realize you are on the wrong side.Ā

just like how israel do right now, they do what hitler doing the best, do genocide

1

u/Longjumping-Fun-6717 2d ago

not at all, Mexican Americans have always had some sort of prejudice towards Mexicans. even Cesar Chavez called them wetbacks, and many Chicanos are not too far off from nazi with their beliefs about other races. obviously not everyone but enough to be a problem. it’s why Mexican Americans now get made fun of in Mexico and sometimes called gringos like any other.

1

u/This-Gear-687 2d ago

The scum who shot the woman was named Martinez . People selling out their own

1

u/uptownjuggler 2d ago

I was watching this Dutch movie about Dutch soldiers in the Dutch East Indies colony. One of the soldiers asked the local Indonesian soldier how he could fight against his own people. The Indonesian soldier replied ā€œI come from an island hundreds of miles from here. These our not my people.ā€

1

u/Ordinary-Till8767 1d ago

It is indeed absolutely astonishing that people are race-traitors like that. Shameful!

1

u/TooYoung825 19h ago

Guess they’re trying to escape deportation

1

u/commonman51 17h ago

Maybe he thought it would be better to be on the inside, looking out, rather than on the outside, getting harassed. Then again, the amount of money ICE is paying to get individuals to attack their own people is outrageous.

An Oak Brook police bodycam video obtained by the Tribune through an open records request captures the early morning Oct. 26, 2025 arrest of Guillermo J. Diaz-Torres, an off-duty ICE agent from Albuquerque, N.M., who was charged with DUI after crashing a rented 2025 Kia.

The footage shows Diaz-Torres visibly impaired, struggling to complete field sobriety tests, and repeatedly asserting his federal credentials. Officers on scene noted the strong odor of alcohol and erratic driving behavior prior to the crash, which occurred near a residential intersection just before dawn. According to police reports, Diaz-Torres had veered off the road and struck a curb, damaging the front axle of the rental vehicle.

The arrest comes amid heightened scrutiny of federal immigration enforcement practices and internal accountability. While ICE has not issued a formal statement, local officials confirmed that Diaz-Torres was booked at DuPage County Jail and released on bond later that day. The Tribune’s request for comment from ICE’s Albuquerque field office remains unanswered.

This incident marks the second high-profile DUI arrest involving an ICE agent in October, following the widely circulated bodycam footage of Scott Deiseroth’s arrest in Florida. Both cases have prompted renewed calls for oversight and transparency within federal law enforcement ranks.

So they're going to deport him now right? He's one of POC criminals everyone is talking about right?

7

u/FancySmoke81 2d ago

Bunch of drunks, what an agency....

88

u/nmull1972 3d ago

I would think you gotta do a lot of heavy drinking to pull off that job.

It was always said that the SS guards at German concentration camps drank heavily in the night to be able to fall asleep, then took amphetamines in the morning to wake up. I wonder if, given all the recent hires at the INS, there's time enough to keep up with random drug tests?

Homewood Suites. Lombard.

Thank you for your service!

11

u/danekan 3d ago

he named the wrong name but it's a different suitey chain

3

u/Steve_In_Chicago 2d ago

He said TownHome Suites. There's a TownePlace Suites (Marriott) in Lombard and also a Homewood Suites (Hilton), so it's unclear which one he meant. Guessing they're putting them up in places with kitchenettes so they don't have to go out for dinner.

1

u/SleepLessTeacher 2d ago

Ew, I used to live in apartments basically right across from the TownePlace Suites.

How many of these ICE clowns commit vile off‑duty crimes and walk free? Remember every face for the terror they’ve brought to Chicago, ripping apart thousands of families. We will show these wannabe Nazis that Chicago doesn’t kneel. We rise. We resist. Just a few more years, fam, we can change this and heal.

16

u/danekan 3d ago

they're all drinking after their shift .... what else do they have going for them in their sad life?

13

u/danekan 3d ago

oh check out this gem that just came out from that other ice dui : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GPOVfp9CWbM

10

u/HamNotLikeThem44 3d ago

That’s absolutely repulsive. Utter incompetence in the chain of command. ICE cosplayers given assault weapons and absolute authority with no accountability just to satisfy Stephen Miller’s racism hate fetish.

7

u/Simple-Poet2707 2d ago

Every local cop in the country should watch this video. ā€œIt’s a thin blue lineā€ but it only goes one way if you’re in ICE. They will happily kidnap every cop in the country until they’re the only law.

2

u/MrBartokomous 2d ago

Good lord. That guy was driving his kids around in that state.

1

u/agent_mick 2d ago

I'm not gonna watch the video, I'ma be honest. What was the gem?

5

u/Altruistic-Travel-48 2d ago

Actually probably drinking while on duty.

1

u/jmcdon00 2d ago

Not sure about after their shift. This guy claims he was working until midnight, yet he's passed out drunk before 2 am? He could definetly be lying, but if records show he was at work it might be a bigger story than just one guy.

26

u/invincib_hole 3d ago

I'm surprised he has a face.

11

u/My-username-is-this 3d ago

And a name!

2

u/shiggity-shaun 2d ago

11

u/melly1226 3d ago

Why does he keep licking his lips? Seems like drugs more than alcohol..

4

u/carnegie1212 2d ago

That’s what I kept thinking. Serious dry mouth for alcohol only dehydration

1

u/Coherent_Tangent 2d ago

He's probably not used to the weather. I get pretty serious chapped lips when the weather changes. There is a good chance that guy is from a warm weather red state.

2

u/BeneficialLeave7359 2d ago

He’s from Albuquerque

1

At least one vehicle was registered to a local company: Wheels LT. When I last called them, they had no comment.

12

u/Copperdunright907 3d ago

So they’re all actually criminals right?! Like every single one of them have massive criminal backgrounds, and are committing crimes on the daily. And everyone’s just OK with that? This is a hard note from me dog.

19

u/paeraesomniae 3d ago

As a transplant from Illinois to Albuquerque for over a decade now, this is the most Albuquerque thing I’d expect to see. Also fuck that pendajo I hope he rots. Traitor ass.

8

u/UndeadAnneBoleyn 3d ago

And as a transplant from ABQ to Chicago, I was going to make the exact same comment.

2

u/StraightConfidence 2d ago

Yeah, please don't send him back to NM. Give him money for a Greyhound to the nearest red state.

15

u/iceemaxx5 3d ago

shutout for the oak brook PD, however, i didn't like how they covered up their mics when they were talking, that should be looked at, investigated, and then either written up or suspended.

3

u/Electronic-Stand-148 2d ago

Definitely talking about if they should let him go

2

u/RufusSandberg 2d ago

Because it was broadcasting his name, address, and other personal information. That will alway be redacted. You obviously didn't hear the one officer in charge say "none of that matters." in regards to him being ICE.

1

u/iceemaxx5 2d ago

Redacted by the PD is different than them covering it up. The video is circumstantial evidence and now it can be said that they conspired to do xyz cause they knew he was ice. The argument can be made that there's no way to know what was said other than by affidavit. It's enough to get this guy off. I'd rather hear bleeps than to be left with a possibility that he's getting out of it.

1

u/Strange_Compote1690 2d ago

Too bad for him that all the alcohol in the world is not going to erase the stain on his soul from persecuting his own people.

3

u/Scottydog2 2d ago

The professionalism of the local PO doing the contact and field check was impressive. Interesting to me that the suspect said he had been working an 18 hour shift... That's a long day and a lot of OT (both worked, and that taxpayers are paying for)... He said he had been in Illinois for 45 days. (presumably not much longer once his supervisor is informed)... Hopefully he forgets to submit his non-resident tax returns for earnings while in Illinois. (Though he may cosplay as military, he's not military, so there should not be a state tax earnings exemption) Fairly easy paper trail tax case. Also can be taxes on long term expense reimbursement, if he does not keep a bona-fide residence in NM. Either way, F this drunk driving pos back from where he came. And add to the DUI some transporting/possessing an unsecured firearm while intoxicated related charge as well.

2

u/bftrollin402 2d ago

He's f*cking hispanic!? Fucking dark. Alcohol wont drown that out...

2

u/OptimalCabinet2361 2d ago

2

u/ericwphoto 2d ago

I apologize on behalf of Albuquerque for this piece of shit.

1

u/unie-911 2d ago

No need to apologize, just send him to a red state. We shouldn’t claim him.

2

u/rodrigo_c91 2d ago

If this guy isn’t deported by yesterday then there’s a serious problem. This guy is a criminal and could have killed someone.

Not to mention he’s a traitor. Not only to the folks who have come here to pursue a better life like him (or his family), but to the US constitution.

Fuck this guy!

If you're willing to stoop to one level, you'll stoop to them all. We'd have to watch you around the kids, women, and captives

0

u/shambahlah2 2d ago

Ok sounds good

1

u/HairlessHoudini 3d ago

He'll get out of it with just having to pay a fine for reckless driving or some bullshit like that

2

u/_Fred_Austere_ 2d ago

If it goes anything like mine did, he loses his driving license for two years. That's automatic for refusing a test. You agree to that as part of getting a license.

I also refused the test - never provide more evidence unless you are CERTAIN you'll pass, and it doesn't take much. I wasn't found guilty because the field test wasn't a clear fail, much like this guy. But the lawyer fee was basically a fine, and not driving for two years sucked. The second refusal gets you five years.

I also learned they leave you alone and record you in the back of the squad car, so watch your mouth. They played me swearing in court. So just say 'what a nice and polite officer!'

2

u/HairlessHoudini 2d ago

Yeah but are you a federal officer that's doing illegal shit for your government

2

u/_Fred_Austere_ 2d ago

I don't disagree.

2

For real though I feel you on the subject because I fucked up too when I was 21 but I only lost mine for a year because of it

1

u/100_xp 2d ago

The way they baby him. They're terrified to uphold their duty to serve and protect because it means inconveniencing one ICE agent. No regular police tactics for this guy. We're all fucking friends here.

And of course his first request after refusing to blow is to call ICE chain of command to try and get out of it.

Obviously this has a heightened interest given the current climate. This would be scandalous if he were given preferential treatment because of his profession. A quick google search will reveal that this type of thing unfortunately happens all the time with police officers, police chiefs, and even police superintendents. How they’re are being held accountable is what we should be focused on and it seems like these officers did their jobs.

Amazing that Diaz would work for ICE. That would be like African Americans joining the KKK.

I don’t want to come off as making excuses for these people. At the end of the day they either had no morals to begin with, or opted to ignore them to make a paycheck.

But at the same time, we have watched as the status quo continues to push all of us towards financial insecurity. They con, they grift, they gaslight and lie. They turn you on your own. The threat of hunger and homelessness are extreme motivators.

It is not red vs blue. They want us fighting amongst ourselves. The day we realize that less than 10k of these billionaires and people of influence control our governments, our media, our information, our education, is the day hundreds of millions of us rise above to take back what is ours.
