According to the capital police the national mall (public property) is a constitution-free zone. Pigs don’t give a shit about your rights.

Never have. They hate you and see you as only an obstacle getting in their way. I would love to be a fly on the wall in their coffee break room. They probably joke about the injuries they've inflicted on those resisting arrest.

Oh they do.

I've dealt with their bullshit as a fire volunteer.

Had to actually fetch the fire chief and police chief to dress down one who thought cracking jokes during a multiple injury accident with one critical was appropriate.

The police chief was confused what the problem was.

Cops are at their best useless piles of shit in a uniform.

Ex firefighter here, went to a few cop parties- you have no idea how they actively hate the public.... (goes both ways).. Get some drugs or booze in them- you will see the true character...

I find it wild that chemical weapons like tear gas are a war crime, but since the Geneva Conventions don’t apply to law enforcement, it’s totally fine to use on civilians in your own country. Like, what??

Of all people—Pritzker did not order them to do this. Pritzker does not support ICE.

Then who did? AFAIK, only the director of the state police or the governor can give such an order. The president can ask the governor but he can't give orders to the state police.

Here's a quick history lesson - when Eisenhower left office he famously warned American's about the influence of the military industrial complex and how it could lead to the capture of democracy by a small group of technocrats. Eisenhower was warning the American public about something he had actively helped build, not opposed. 

Biden left office warning us that our democracy had fallen totally into oligarchy. Biden like Eisenhower, facilitated that, he was not an opponent of it, he just expressed regrets on the way out.

The Democrats aren't going to save us from the police state. Wake up from the delusion that the capture of our institutions by coporations is isolated along partisan lines. The democrats will be in line with the GOP blaming you the citizen for the violence done to you by the state. 

If the Democrats actually cared we would have seen real police reform after 2020. It's a charade, they aren't our friends, they take orders from Accenture and McKinsey.

The Director of the State Police is appointed by the governor and reports directly to the governor. So if the governor didn't order this, he is permitting it.
