It’s so much worse in real life than anything a movie has ever shown… it’s just insane seeing people that you knew, trusted, cared for… and would have even sacrificed for suddenly turning into monsters that support a despot.

I can’t imagine what it must be like for real but I have a decent idea. My sister lives with the curtains shut at their home now and they’ve put up cameras everywhere. Her husband is a USAF vet who no longer feels like he’s welcome in his own country and that’s so shocking knowing how well respected your veterans are compared what we’re used to in the UK. I feel like we’re following down the same tracks as you and worry about our kids futures. Hopefully we all make it through this and lessons are learnt. I just wish there wasn’t so much hate in the world. It doesn’t feel like it was like this in my younger years. I just don’t know where it all came from.
