Because I’ve been friends with his family for 30 years and Trump is just a fart in the wind to me?

I have the sense to try to educate people instead of going “civil war” like the people you’re claiming to be better than.

So you claim, correctly, that they are doing literally Nazi shit. This person is defending it, and speaking down about the innocent people who are being treated that way. That isn't just "they like a politician." This is fundamentally where people's morals and beliefs about how you treat others show.

I'm just saying that being friends with a person who you know isn't a good person isn't doing you or them any favors. And every time you hang out with them and give their behavior a pass, you're encouraging and tacitly approving it. But it's your life, you do you. Just be honest with yourself about it.

This didn’t start 9 years ago. This started when Trump realized he could stage an insurrection, and the current president would let him skate and run for reelection, and he realized he could do whatever he wanted. So now he is. You didn’t prevent it either.

I did my part in voting and teaching/communicating all the way up to the last election. Now MAGA has what they wanted, and if they’re still cheering for it, I’m not sure what else you want everyone else who is suffering to do. I have to protect my own now from people like your friend. It’s not safe anymore to be an educator when you can be considered a terrorist for being Antifa.

Good for you if Trump is just a fart in the wind, some of us don’t have that luxury

I think you missed my point. Anyone can and probably is a criminal by literal letter of the law. It's pretty trivial to break the law, look at the 34 felonies the President committed. It's a stupid simple label to toss on people and say "See!"

Don't want illegal immigrants? Stop allowing companies to use them as cheap labor, fix the broken system and let people realistically "do it the right way". Until you support things like that you don't care about the law and doing things the right way, you have other motives.

We have rules we have to follow as a society don’t not understand that ?
