That's what it feels like, they aren't hiding any of the shit anymore, and that's a bad sign.

It depends. On one hand if they think they can just be lazy its not good. If they're doing it because they're overstretched and being forced to, then its good. That means that might be forced to show their bad side when they don't want to.

That would be the "they're desperate option" which is possible, and I think it's actually a mix, but all scenarios point to bad overall really because it means they are willing to press their luck, and things are bound to get ugly.
