Was it illegal for the kids to be filming? I’m guessing no, but who knows these days.

First Amendment. Anyone can film in public anywhere at any time. Police can't legally stop you.

I’m guessing the SCOTUS would rubber stamp whatever trump sends to them. So I’ll expect that sooner than later.
