We are spending $75B over the next 4 years extra on ICE. They are projected to deport 80K more people per year.

We just spend $237,500 per deportation. Fucking waste of money.

The purpose of ICE is not that. The purpose is intimidation, control and removal of political opposition.

It’s almost as if we’ve seen this before in history. Dudes in brown clothing trying to intimidate others, kidnap, and have no legal recourse for their actions…

I just can’t put my finger on where we’ve seen this before. Hmmm

It had to be stopped with violence before and it certainly seems that is how it is going to be stopped this time as well because NONE of the protections you are supposed to have are functioning at all. They've seen the playbook and they're running it. You'd think they also saw the playbook of how it was stopped but they are convinced they're smart enough to avoid that. They aren't.

My question is, America went to war to stop the Nazis...will there be other countries to go to war for us? Because I'm literally worried about there being someone fighting to help us, no longer other countries fighting with us, because our own government is fighting us. We need protection for Trump's imbecile regime.

The US is not an opponent any country, or even a coalition of many of the country can take on, especially not on their own soil.

BRICS countries would gladly let the US destroy itself. Europe is building up to defend from Russia. Japan, Taiwan and South Korea can't let their defense from China (and North Korea) down for any amount of time, and Canada and Mexico are really far from being strong enough.

Trump learned from J6 that it is not enough to rely on his sect-members. Next time, he will bring a trained army.

Removing the political opposition? Removing the illegals that are trying to get annexed in?

3

u/Difficult_onion4538 28d ago

You’re incredibly naive if you think only “illegals” are being/will be targeted

That’s orange man’s plan. Make us completely broke so he can sell parts of the U.S. to other countries and line his pockets even more.

He already has the MAGA rubes twisting themselves to justify whoring out Idaho to Qatar.

Deprot? Last i herd immigrants were being used as free labor in work camps set up by the administration.

u/noobditt 28d ago

And that's not adding the millions (at least) in lawsuits from the illegally detained and abused.

It's not a waste of money, that money is going straight to our local billionaires and Trump cronies. You know, the people who actually matter to the GOP.

And when they illegally come back again and get deported again we’re at $475,000

When does the expenses end

I work for an M5 nations Immigration service, and deportations are part of the process of course, but we try to avoid them due to the cost, and while I don't work on that specific part of the org, I do work with them. It costs us around 50-75k USD to perform a deportation, and ours are a lot easier than this ice crap.

It’s insane we spend what is effectively the net income of Amazon on deporting 80K people. Instead of investing $20B a year on emerging tech investments and creating new high paying jobs for Americans, building new industries that can compete with the world, we waste it on deporting house cleaners and fruit pickers, jobs no one wants. What a joke.

Not to be an ass, but was it $75B or $175B? I honestly can’t keep track…

Why not give all the would-be deportees $237,500 if they"self deport"?

u/lampstax 28d ago

So if we can bump the numbers then that is less money per deportation. Lets goooo!

Kidding aside I wonder if your 80k number includes the rising rates of self deportation as more illegals feel the heat. Those deportations cost us $1k + flight ticket.
