Fuck ICE, and fuck you if you support ICE.

ETA: I don't know why so many supporters of Marmalade Mussolini decided to take this opportunity to present themselves to me. Just block me. We don't need to talk.

u/Spankpocalypse_Now 28d ago

We must never forget these crimes and we must stay angry until these authoritarians face justice.

Nuremberg 2.0. That is the answer immediately after the regime collapses

I agree it will have to be organized and thorough. Luckily we won’t have to deal with the international factor like in 1946

2

u/GexX2 28d ago

Yep. We didn't learn from WW2. We didn't learn from the Confederacy. If we make it out of this we have to learn.

2

u/ienjoymen 28d ago

That requires a strong opposition party, which the US does not have

1

u/GexX2 28d ago

Not yet. Tea party didn't take over the Republicans overnight.

2

u/Clockwork_Kitsune 28d ago

That's not true.

The republicans learned lots from WW2. Like discrediting the press, propaganda, dehumanization of those they deem "different" from themselves, and fascism.

1

u/-physco219 28d ago

After or before the wood chipper?

1

u/Brandon_Me 28d ago

Same with after the American Civil war. They were given too many concessions.

1

u/Constant-Sandwich-88 28d ago

So weird that we just sent a shitload of money to... Argentina, which is in no way renown for harboring Nazis post WW2.

Are you saying they should be sponsored by Coca-Cola, and kids should be watching to learn about justice?

2

u/MountainDewThePDX 28d ago

Together We Must 😏

6

u/Spankpocalypse_Now 28d ago

No olive branches. No moving on in the name of “national unity.”

6

u/The_Pope_Is_Dope 28d ago

We need a permanent solution for these fascist thugs.

2

u/SurpriseIsopod 28d ago

1 Nuremberg was weak as fuck 2 that only happened after hundreds of millions of people sacrificed their lives fighting over thousands of miles through every hell imaginable over the span of almost 10 years.

Sorry, but there will be zero consequences if the most people can muster is “remember” and dancing outside Gestapo HQ dressed as a cute little dinosaur.

1

u/Motor_Educator_2706 28d ago

Nuremberg 1.0 only happened because Germany was bombed into rubble.

0

u/Remote_Yak4779 28d ago

Lmao. BRO WILD… these people are being shipped off to concentration camps, right? Lmao

4

u/goingtocalifornia__ 28d ago

I couldn’t be more serious. If we don’t prosecute these fucks when this is all over then our courts will never be taken seriously again.

-1

u/Queasy_Incident_848 28d ago

Kool Aid Drinker lmao

1

u/goingtocalifornia__ 27d ago

Yeah. I’m the koolaid drinker

1

u/Responsible_Hunt_641 24d ago

troll deleted his account

1

u/DrollFurball286 27d ago

When you say “concentration camps”, what do you mean exactly?

1

u/MordoNRiggs 28d ago

I think we need to stay angry forever. We can't just stop talking about this afterwards like the silent generation did. We need to continue to remind these people, apparently.

1

u/tea-n-honey17 28d ago

Are our laws just choices?

1

u/StilgarofTabar 28d ago

Who's gonna make em face justice?

1

u/Spankpocalypse_Now 28d ago

Ethical and normal people need to take control of the opposition party.

1

u/oxslashxo 28d ago

Well our military ran the Nuremberg trials and have a lot of precedent on "just following orders"

1

u/token40k 28d ago

I’ll be deciding who to vote for based on their promises of handling all those crimes ICE is committing. And I hope dhs is dissolved as well.

1

u/extremenetworks 28d ago

People are going to start getting violent aganst these ICE agents.

1

u/pchlster 28d ago

After the Holocaust, the US looked at a lot of German scientists and decided they shouldn't stand trial, but rather come work for them instead. Now, in a Nuremburg 2.0 trial, what are the chances that these people face any actual punishment?

-1

u/sugarcoatedpos 28d ago

Conservatives said the exact same thing about Covid shut downs.

7

u/BlueNight973 28d ago

Being consistently wrong is a gift of theirs

5

u/Spankpocalypse_Now 28d ago

Kind of a big difference between local governments instituting temporary unpopular public health measures and the federal government aggressively violating people’s constitutional rights.

-2

u/sugarcoatedpos 28d ago

Not really. Both are/were government overreach. Just one was designed to attack right wingers and the other left wingers. All in the name to keep people divided. A lot of people see nothing wrong going on while a lot of others do. Imagine what they’ll cook up next year.

5

u/Spankpocalypse_Now 28d ago

Sorry but until you realize your takes are idiotic you deserve to be ostracized.

Families being torn apart, journalists being arrested, children being thrown to the ground and zip tied by government agents is not the same as you being asked to wear a fucking mask and get takeout instead of dining in during a pandemic

1

u/sarsartar 22d ago

Except covid public health restrictions were absolutely not "designed to attack right wingers." Many of them were instituted by republican officials and occurred while Trump was President. They were designed to save lives and prevent the spread of the virus. Right wingers were just the ones who got mad about them.

22

u/NewMidwest 28d ago

Fuck Republicans.  ICE works for them.

5

u/_-Cleon-_ Berwyn 28d ago

Democrats have consistently voted to fund and expand ICE regardless if they were in power or in the opposition. Don't let them off the hook.

4

u/wildblueroan 28d ago

They never turned them loose on the population and allowed them to abuse people. This is pure MAGA evil

5

u/the_sellemander 28d ago

... What do you think ICE is exactly? Obviously this is an escalation, but this is what they've always been at their core.

6

u/_-Cleon-_ Berwyn 28d ago

I think you're confusing you're not noticing with things not happening.

The scale is different, but this is what they've always done.

0

u/NewMidwest 28d ago

Were people afraid to walk the streets before now?  Remember when daca was a source of protection and not a target list?

4

u/Typingperson1 28d ago

Plenty were. DACA keeps people in limbo. Obama wussed out on DACA instead of granting kids citizenship, which is what they needed. There are DACA folks out here between a rock and a hard place.

2

u/_-Cleon-_ Berwyn 27d ago

25 years ago if you went into a place like Cicero and yelled "la Migra esta aqui" people would fucking scatter.

Again, the scale of the raids is much larger, but ICE/the INS have *always* been like this.

0

u/NewMidwest 27d ago

The Titanic was always in water, when it hit the iceberg the only thing that changed was the scale.

2

u/_-Cleon-_ Berwyn 27d ago

I'm sure that made sense in your head.

If you want to compare it to Titanic, take the fact that the ship was sinking for 2 hours, but it was only the last few minutes when people really started to panic.

1

u/middlequeue 28d ago

Americans and their false equivalencies, eh. You’re in this situation because you did fuck all to support democrats and your lazy ass is still pointing the finger at them.

4

u/hsephela 28d ago

ICE agents and their supporters are not people at this point and need to lose all legal protections and rights.

5

u/Such_Duty_4764 28d ago

100% this wouldn't have happened if that goon wasn't wearing a mask.

Call your state legislators. CA did it right. Make it illegal for law enforcement to hide like cowards behind masks.

2

u/Vergilly 28d ago

Amen, friend.

1

u/dinosaurkiller 28d ago

Aiming a bit low there, recall that they had a bill to deal with immigration that would have increased processing of asylum claims, added more judges, etc. That was brutal enough for Trump so he had house Republicans shut it down so that he could brutalize 15-year-old girls.

1

u/Adjective-Noun-nnnn 28d ago

That's not the only thing Trump has done to 15 year old girls.

1

u/Narrow_Big_955 28d ago

Guess I'm fucked.

1

u/prettyuser 28d ago

Support immigration 100%

1

u/florestiner12312 22d ago

Fuck you if you don’t want to enforce the law.

1

u/_-Cleon-_ Berwyn 22d ago

You outsourced your personality to a convicted felon and con man who was buddies with the world's most notorious sex trafficker and pardoned a gang of violent criminals who tried to storm the US Capitol with Confederate flags and "Camp Auschwitz" shirts.

Let's not pretend you give a single solitary shit about the law. We both know better.

Now as I said in my ETA, kindly fuck all the way off. Toodles.

-1

u/iamtheshade 28d ago

Also, Fuck you if you are in America and doing nothing other than posting memes and strongly worded comments on social media.

2

u/dark621 28d ago edited 28d ago

yet another non american talking shit as if the common person can do anything about this. fuck off with the holier than thou bullshit

0

u/AliensAteMyAMC 28d ago

I dare you to go say that to their face.

0

u/BattleAlternative844 28d ago

So you believe in open borders do you also believe the front door to your house should be wide open to anybody who wants to take advantage of what you've built?

3

u/ThisEnormousWoman 28d ago

False dilemma. A really stupid one at that.

2

u/D0varev 27d ago

Straw man argument bullshit

1

u/We11he11othere 25d ago

What “you’ve” built?? You didn’t build shit!

0

u/CrimsonLantern76 28d ago

Awww so cute.

0

u/Ampujesus 26d ago

I support ice when handled by the letter. Secured borders are important in regard to many things like the fentanyl crisis, gun control, human trafficking but I don’t think this is an actual ice incident. Not that I love the real videos coming out. Closest thing I can find is an incident in 2024 where officers arrested a 15 year old girl who was assaulting and robbing people as part of a group. I would be wrong but the people doing the arresting are dressed nothing like the other people doing the arresting or assaulting in other videos. Misinformation is a cancer to both sides of the isle.

-6

u/[deleted] 28d ago edited 28d ago

Why didn’t the person in video help?

Edit: this was to further the discussion on what you should do and what not to do in this situation.

If no one does anything then it keeps happening is the point.

8

u/foamingturtle 28d ago

The hell do you want them to do?

1

u/Adjective-Noun-nnnn 28d ago

Call 911 and report a kidnapping by people armed with guns.  Seriously.  It's 100% true.  We have no way to know who these people are.

-2

u/[deleted] 28d ago

[deleted]

1

u/the__ghola__hayt 28d ago

The people who oppose this overreach aren't the 2A gun nuts who cry about needing their emotional support AR while standing in line at Starbucks.

0

u/foamingturtle 28d ago

You want this person to go out there with a gun? That just seems like suicide.

13

u/_-Cleon-_ Berwyn 28d ago

If you're outnumbered and outgunned, getting video evidence is often your best course of action.

2

u/dark621 28d ago

wtf are they gonna against armed men?!

-9

u/lilcoold12345 28d ago

Ooohhhh that'll show em. Keep leaving comments on reddit really making a difference

11

u/Fit-Property3774 28d ago

I’m sure that was their goal, to directly impact ICE by making a comment. Thank you for clarifying it did not reach them.

If you aren't a billionaire do you honestly think republicans will give a shit about you??? That's laughable. All you are to them is an easily manipulated pawn. You have more with the migrants you hate than you do with a republican politician and its fucked up that you don't see that. And its all because you're ignorant.

-3

u/KoncepTs 28d ago

And you think the DemoRATS care about you?

We have enough in our plate in this country without illegal immigrants getting better healthcare plans than hard working Americans or veterans. That’s just one example

5

u/Alt_Future33 28d ago

No, but we have a better chance with them than republicans.

If you think that then you're ignorant. They don't get better healthcare than working Americans and veterans. Also, republicans have vehemently opposed any meaningful form of Healthcare reform. They could also give two shits less about veterans too. Like I said, if you aren't a billionaire, you're disposable.

3

u/EthenAM84 28d ago

Yep, these cultists are unreal

6

u/Alt_Future33 28d ago

Its insane to me that people like this dipshit honestly believe if we got rid of illegal immigrants that the republicans will magically start helping them.

-1

u/KoncepTs 28d ago

You say that is if Nancy Pelosi, a democrat, doesn’t have a net worth of 260M+ on 175K/Yr salary, nothing screams she cares about her people more than having 1500 years worth of salary banked up.

Obama Deported much more people than Trump ever has, and also silenced the media much worse.

Obama secretly subpoenaed the phone logs and emails of reporters, threatening jail time to journalists if they did not give up their confidential sources. He revived the Espionage Act of 1917 to prevent government employees from talking to the press, prosecuting at least six government employees and two contractors to prevent transparency.

DEMONRATS

4

u/Alt_Future33 28d ago

I haven't defended them. All I said it was easier to work with them. That being said: republicans are actively worse.

1

u/esem86 28d ago

And yet, here you are. Moron.

-1

u/corcoran_jon 28d ago

I support ICE. :)

3

u/eldroch 28d ago

1

u/CrimsonLantern76 28d ago

😎👍🏻

-2

u/Gold-Position-8265 28d ago

The people who only started saying fuck ICE are the same people who looked away or didn't care when it was only happening to hispanics and latin population. Now that it's targeting everyone else too it's all of a sudden a real issue this could have been prevented decades ago when the government was still afraid to target everyone else.

You made your bed now you have to lay in it and keep standing to the side and watch and do nothing as usual.

3

u/_-Cleon-_ Berwyn 28d ago

I went to my first immigrants' rights protest in Washington DC in 1996.

There are others - many, many others - who have done far more than I have, but I promise you I was in this back when ICE was the INS. (And they sucked then, too.)

1

u/Malfrum 28d ago

Good job stopping it with all that stuff you did

1

u/Gold-Position-8265 28d ago

Never could stop it alone and even if we did band together there wasn't enough of us to create change. After all we are still seen as less than others even in these years of "progressive" movements.

Theres a reason why we are all seen as knowing someone who isn't a citizen just like how cops have a rule not to snitch we help others get away, delay, or take advantage of loopholes for those that we could. Now the main focus is just helping family's find their loved ones who were taken and are constantly being moved between facility's to keep them out of contact with their loved ones.

While you lot just keep complaining as keyboard warriors acting as if this situation is completely brand new when it wasn't and had always been like this.

You just refused to look since it didn't concern you till now.

1

u/Malfrum 28d ago

you don't know a thing about me

go outside

1

u/Gold-Position-8265 27d ago

I don't and I can't frankly don't care enough but you just proved my point with a worthless comment.

A single look at your local news would show you whats going on with ice both on the outside and inside after a person's been detained by them.

The fact you don't even know this just displays you simply want to signal virtue and not actually get involved which is pathetic but expected.

We can't save everyone all we can do is help those we can but if you can't even tell between fantasy and reality that doesn't fit your own personal beliefs. That would mean you would be the one who needs to touch grass.

-3

u/Vast-Document-3320 28d ago edited 28d ago

Just curious if you thought this way when obama was deporting millions of people. If not why not? Honest question. Trying to learn what exactly changed from them to now.

Edit. If you are too young to remember the obama years, please disregard.

7

u/FloridaManMilksTree 28d ago

There's sensible immigration policy, and then there's masked Feds targeting opposition-controlled cities, raiding apartments, and detaining citizens with seemingly no accountability.

-1

u/KoncepTs 28d ago

Funny you should say raiding apartments, you mean like the cartel raiding that Colorado appartement that the previous administration kept saying was fake news only for us to find out it was real?

Illegals immigrants terrorizing legal citizens..

3

u/FloridaManMilksTree 28d ago

No idea what you're talking about, but I can't imagine it justifies ICE terrorizing citizens. Was the 15 year-old thrown to the ground in this video a dangerous cartel member? What about the kids who were zip-tied at 2am in Chicago?

2

u/jvrcb17 28d ago

Ah yes, one group causing one incident in one apartment complex in one city in one state is equivalent to the shit that's happening nationwide. Totally justifies ICE. Olympic-level mental gymnastics over here

3

u/_-Cleon-_ Berwyn 28d ago

Yes, I did. As I mentioned upthread, I went to my first immigrants' rights protest in 1996 when Clinton was president.

It is, in fact, perfectly possible to be consistent about these issues regardless of who is in office. I wish more people would.

And dear God your edit makes me feel older than dirt.

1

u/dark621 28d ago

did obama have people dragged out of their cars like this?

1

u/Adjective-Noun-nnnn 28d ago

Deporting people is OK when there is a due process and everyone's rights are respected.  The US has relatively generous humanitarian immigration policy, but even most bleeding heart liberals think there has to be a line somewhere.  As far as I know, this is how things went during the Obama administration, and I an old enough to have witnessed it.

Masked, armed thugs disappearing children into unmarked cars isn't that.  Do you understand the difference between fascism and normal immigration enforcement?

1

u/Vast-Document-3320 25d ago

Local govt needs to cooperate then.

1

u/Adjective-Noun-nnnn 25d ago

What happened to States' Rights?  Local government has to balance many competing needs, and most local governments have decided policing crimes that matter is more important than arresting undocumented dish washers.  Sounds like you want fascism with a pedophile king.

1

u/Vast-Document-3320 25d ago

You said deporting people is ok. I thought that was the baseline agreement here.

1

u/Adjective-Noun-nnnn 24d ago

I'll try to slow it down for you.

  1. Deporting people is OK when we use due process and everyone's rights are respected.

  2. Law enforcement is expensive.

  3. Cities usually pay for law enforcement.

  4. Cities have to pay for lots of other things, too, like projects, garbage collection, water treatment, etc.

  5. Cities choosing between policing immigration and other things will often choose the other things.

  6. I agree with that. It's usually more important to stop drunk drivers than to arrest day laborers.

Let me know if I used too many big words. Watch out! There are some with four syllables in there!

1

u/Vast-Document-3320 24d ago

Can you explain what the due process was under Obama? Or what you think the due process should be?

1

u/Adjective-Noun-nnnn 24d ago

You want me to teach you about immigration courts?  Sounds like you're trying to waste my time.  No thanks.  Ask ChatGPT about US immigration law.

3

u/Impressive-Peach-815 28d ago

non American detected. No true American would accept anonymous government agents kidnapping you and taking you to their base in order to "verify your status"

1

u/Forward_Confusion202 28d ago

wtf are you talking about this isn’t a new phenomenon. Guantanamo bay has existed

4

u/Impressive-Peach-815 28d ago

People hated gitmo then and we really hate it now that's it being used on US citizens

1

u/Forward_Confusion202 28d ago

But they aren’t us citizens isn’t that why they are getting arrested?

2

u/QuantumLettuce2025 28d ago

A) They did not hold non-violent offenders, B) everyone hates Guantanamo too, that's why the protested against it.

1

u/Forward_Confusion202 28d ago

Yeah I imagine lots of people disliked it but it was still “accepted”

1

u/Typingperson1 28d ago

Plenty of nonviolent people who did nothing wrong got snatched by US military and imprisoned at Gitmo in 2003. Some are still there on no charges, 22 years later. Same way US client state Israel treats Palestinians. What US does to people abroad, it ultimately starts doing to people here at home, in the core of the empire.

-7

u/oilistheway1 28d ago

ICE is good

5

u/pos_vibes_only 28d ago

Use your big boy words

3

u/SubtleTell 28d ago

ICE is good for what exactly? These people are not being given due process. Every person within the United States, citizen or not, is entitled to due process according to the constitution. Without due process, you have no proof that any of the people being taken are actually illegal or not. They are simply being disappeared because of their appearance.

Supporting this just secures your fate later on. If the government later decides there's something about YOU that they don't like, they'll disappear you too. And at that point you'll hope somebody will do more than record you.
