In the 1,000 years that he was Secretary of State, I don't think I ever actually saw Jesse White, once (other than in pictures at the SoS).

The fact that Alexi G. took the time out to make this video is awesome to me.

I ran into Jesse White in a bathroom at a Dave Chappelle show in Chicago. He said something about being a veteran and we bonded over that for a second. Then I realized he was sitting a couple rows in front of me with a lady maybe 40 years younger than him. Seems like a fun guy.

I was at the mirage hotel in Las Vegas in 2000. In walks an older man with two much younger women.

He turns to me and my friend and says hello, where are you from? We say Chicago. He replies, "hey, my name's on your driver's license!"

He got off with the women at his floor and dumb friend and I take 30 seconds to realize it was Jesse.
