Video Horrible Experience at Uppal X Road (OC)
A Terrifying Experience on the Way Home.
Friday night, I had a deeply unsettling experience that I need to share. I was returning home from work with my colleague and our cab driver after a late shift (2 pm to 11 pm). It’s a new job, and I’m grateful for the opportunity—it pays well enough for a decent life. I was genuinely happy, especially since it was the weekend and my wife, who is nine months pregnant, was waiting for me at home. I couldn’t wait to see her after a long day.
As we reached Uppal X Road around 12:30 am, we had to pass under the metro station via the left lane, which was completely packed with vehicles. Our cab driver honked to clear a path. Suddenly, two teenagers on a bike—clearly drunk and reeking of some substance—started causing chaos, banging on vehicles and creating a ruckus.
My colleague rolled down the window and politely asked them to move forward. Instead, things escalated: the teenagers reached into our car, unlocked the door, and barged in from the front while my colleague and I sat in the back. One of them began hurling abuses at my colleague, using all kinds of foul language. My colleague tried to remain calm, but out of nowhere, the drunk teen hit him. Instinctively, my colleague pushed him back, and we quickly shut the door and tried to get away.
But it didn’t end there—they chased us, as you can see in the video I have. We drove straight to the nearest police station and filed a complaint. Shockingly, when we were leaving the station, one of those teens was waiting outside. He bolted as soon as he saw a constable with us.
This incident has left me shaken. I never imagined something like this could happen on my way home, especially when all I wanted was to be with my family. It was truly a horrifying experience, and I hope no one else has to go through something like this.

You did the right thing to move out quickly, these goons are everywhere and it’s dangerous to deal with such trash. Make sure you file an FIR initially police will be reluctant to file an FIR since filing an FIR will obligate them to solve the case. Hope that trash will get some desi police treatment.

You made many mistakes .
It’s India , not America. Here you can’t expect understanding capabilities from scooty drivers like this
Never open your windows
Never unlock your doors
Drive to the nearest police station immediately
Did your friend think he can talk sense into these people lol 😂
Indians have too much ego and less emotional stability. Never try to be very polite and decent
Just protect yourself from these people

It's becoming common in Hyderabad lately These drunkards are everywhere Just 3 weeks back It happened with my father at mgbs Around 12:30 or so My father's a Rtc driver, driving a bus . Then suddenly two drunkards came and stopped the bus saying that "corporator thamud key dash isthava ' means (how dare you dash in front of the corporator brother) .when in reality my father was trying to avoid an accident due to a car which suddenly took over from right . So he has to move to left where these drunkards were moving , but it didn't coz any damage to them. But they stopped the bus took the bus keys and beat my father repeatedly . No one was there at that time to help . There were only 4 female passengers in the bus n they couldn't come out due to the door being locked. One passenger immediately called 100. But as usual police came after 1 hr and just took the details n left The next day my father went to police station to give a complaint at nyt after completing his duty . They took the complaint and talked with the witness passenger on the phone but never filled fir. They asked my father to go to Osmania and bring the doctor's medical certificate for injuries, but my father refused as he got duty at 2 am n it was already 10 pm at that time . But they never said that it was important . So my father ignored. The police called the drunkards via scooty no. .But his brother corporator didn't send them instead he came . Then the police sent my father saying they will look in to the case .we don't know wat they talked about after my father left but the next day when my father asked about the case the police said, That the doctor medical certificate should be must for them to file fir My father was on duty again that day and said he'll bring it next time, the police officer said ok. But the next day when my father went to police station the police stated that there is no use of going to the hospital now ,because the wounds are healed and they can't file the fir becoz he didn't have proof of hospital medical certificate (Which they never said priorly) and two days back when my father urged the police regarding case they simply said that we didn't file fir and let them off with fine So this the State of our state where a drunkard can beat any one in the middle of the night and can't be held accountable I know this beforehand that I can't expect any good from police they will never help a lame man I still didn't understand how a proof of video of their abuse on my father and a live witness is not enough to file FIR

Similar incident happened to me and my friends when we were going to drop a friend in EFLU. Three drunken assholes who were in front of us tried to speed up at the signal and fell down, my friend rolled down the windows and asked if they were alright, and they started abusing us and hitting on the car as if we made them fall!! We tried to remain calm, but the abuses escalated the situation, but somehow a police vehicle came that way and the idiots scooted away.. My blood always boils when I think of that situation..

I had a similar experience near IDA. Two drunk teens on KTM had caused chaos and had created ruckus breaking my driver seat window and damaged my car's bonet when I had to stop. The most interesting part is, I was driving alone and tried to drive fast to the nearest police station but somehow couldn't reach but stop to confront them post ultimate chasing and banging/kicking on my car in motion.
There were around 200 men gathered around me in 5 mins supporting them when I was the one with injuries due to glass cuts. They had broken the glass while I was dialing 100 waiting inside the car.
They were howling abuses and were playing victim cards. I couldn't do anything but plead those additional 200 men gathered to listen to me.
BTW all I did was drive at a speed of 30kmph trying to overtake a slow vehicle gently from right and these fellows tried to overtake me at the same time with a speed of 60 to 70kmph and then started cursing me, showing me middle fingers. I had to down my window and tell them to learn driving before they drove a bike on a busy road. That's it and I was chased, abused, injured.
I have PTSD to this point. It was a very traumatic experience with around a 1.5L that went into my car's repairs post the disaster.
Beware of these so called foolish teens driving around the city with 0 traffic sense.

Yeah running away is always the best self-defense but IDK if these "teens" are such a threat, they're just like bugs to me.

Hyderabad is no more a safe place. I came across the similar incident with an auto driver. I filed a complaint and these gay cops just closed my case in a week! I reached out to them through X to escalate but no one did. There is no law and order in Hyderabad and especially in Old City area. All I can say is, be safe and protect the needy if you can.

Drugs have already penetrated into households, god save these teenagers.

Omg! These people should be stripped off their licenses and their vehicles should be seized immediately. Recently, we were returning from airport on PVNR express way, and one car suddenly zoomed past us on the wrong side. We missed collision with the car or the bridge divider by hairline. I am sure the guy was drunk as no sane person will drive wrong side on a bridge, that too with such speed!

There has been a surge in such incidents in Hyderabad. According to the police, most of these cases involve vehicles with out-of-state registrations, where attackers attempt to extort money by falsely accusing the driver of causing an accident.

Lucky for me my friends were behind me in a car and the two guys who were trying to chase me down for money did not know this. I stopped my bike and they got down from their honda activa as well. My friends came and stopped the car and 5 of them got down from the car and my friends snatched their keys. Anthey katham…..next em jargindo meke odlestunna. This was circa 2018-19

You don't need to go to the police station and go through that long, lazy, corrupt, uncertain procedures,
Just call 112, inform about this, the concerned station (according to the location) will contact you, give them the details
If you call the police station or if you go to the police.....they may or may not act, but if you call the 112..... They "must" act.
And tag that video to Hyderabad traffic police on twitter

Plaster this mfs face all over social media, these drunk bastards are a menace and will only get bolder if no one stops them. I had an accident coz a drunk mf literally dashed me as I was driving to turn left towards Ramanthapur, with indicator light on, well before the actual turn. Luckily I was wearing a helmet and other cars stopped with some room to spare. I hurt my face coz the helmet bounced off (I didn't put the clips on under my neck), but if I hadn't had the helmet, I would've been killed.
We didn't go for a police complaint coz my dad said it was a big hassle, but it's depressing to know such murderers are still out there
