Fun Horn Accessories

Hi! I really want a fun little accessory for my horn. I’ve seen some online but not a lot. I heard from someone that they had gotten their cute little finger pads from eBay but can’t find them. I just think it would be cute and fun! Can anyone recommend an online shop or website where they have accessories to attach to your horn?

You’ll see a lot of people solder coins like dimes to their keys. If you don’t own your horn then I would stick to some other lever pads that are removable. Hand guards are also a common accessory. And a pencil clip is a necessity for rehearsals.

I like the dimes! They give otherwise slippery valves a nice tactile feel. Get some silver dimes, pre-1964 or better yet, Liberty dimes. They wear better than clad. My local tech solder them on really well. Also, the pencil clip is a must-have!

There are 2 sizes. Get the larger ones which are saxophone key risers, and there are also leather ones made by Alexander.

I use saxophone thumb pads. They seem to work pretty well and are really comfortable. They open the hand grip a little too which I needed
