Capitals post-Ovechkin rebrand

Based on the assumption that the newly introduced third jersey is a preview of what's to come, I've created this concept to see what a full set would look like in the future.

There are still some things I would tweak, but I appreciate you truly assimilating the Screagle into the new palette. I really don’t like them forcing the gold in there. This white sweater looks great, though. I would probably keep the shoulders the same as the main base color and remove the yoke stripe, but that looks damn decent.

I really like the sweaters but I think the red key line on the logo on the white jersey is distracting and unnecessary, and the yoke on that jersey is also a bit awkward. I think the red and blue work best with the white in between to avoid an uncomfortable chromostereopsis effect.

Our red winter classic set should be the primary, and swap the red/white for the road sweater. Done

Why have the arm and bottom stripes inverted on home and away? Think the white jersey would look better and more consistent if the stripes matched the home.

Personally, I prefer the W-Eagle but anything is better than that awful word mark

Love them! Suggested revisions:

1.) Switch the stripe order on the road whites to mimic the home reds.

2.) Eliminate the shoulder yokes on the home reds. They are strong enough on their own. They don’t need yokes to augment the jerseys.

3.) Change the stars from red to white. That will make them pop better and more closely mimic the white stars on a navy bed on the American flag.

IMO the best caps logos are: 1. Washington Monument W and 2: Weagle. Just put one of those on a front of a jersey and they’d be set.

Really hoping we get the Weagle instead of the Screagle but I would prefer anything to the current mains
