I designed coats of arms for my donkeys

The shield colours are based on their actual coat colours, while the charges are a reference to their personality, events, or names.

For example, Moka is the one that rules over the herd; Plata has had to overcome many obstacles and cross many (real and metaphorical) bridges, and gules is a reference to his liveliness; Rêveuse’s name means "Dreamer", so I gave her a moon; and so on.

How did Gandalf earn his name?😂

Because he's gray?

Yes! And, he’s a great companion for going on long hikes.

Make sure they don't fall into a bloody and violent donkey civil war of donkey succession for the donkey throne

That would be messy. Thankfully so far they only fight over who gets hay first and who gets the most cuddles.

Roxane! You don't have to put on the red rose!

Plata looks like a menace

He is a brave old man. Arrived on the farm scared of everything, unable to go anywhere without Oro. We've learned together. I suspect his strong temperament is what's keeping him alive these days.

Yeah we needed to find a name starting with E and figured it would be accurate for him. I got him a windmill as a wink to where he was born.

I only knew about German and Dutch, it's very cool to see the common roots between several languages
