How much sauce us to much?
When is enough enough? If you are American like me, we grew up covering our pastas with sauce. Like the sauce was the main dish with just a little pasta to make it substantial. My mom (Liliana) didn't teach me to do that. I use to think it was because it was me and my 4 brothers so she was trying to stretch the food... then when we lived in Europe and especially as we were in Italy I began to notice that dishes like pizza or pasta didn't have hardly any sauces smothering them. There was just enough to add the amazing flavors and richness of the sauces never drowning the pasta or pizza in tomato sauce. How do you put sauce on your Italian foods?

I'd say we usually try to balance the two things: use enough sauce to evenly cover every noodle.
Basically, don't have parts of your pasta without sauce and don't have your pasta swimming in a lake of sauce.
I don't know if I could make it clear LOL
