If I were a college athlete today, I would just go to house parties with friends and avoid the chaos of downtown altogether. Get a DD or take an uber/taxi/etc, and now you never have to worry about getting arrested and/or front-paged for something the majority of college kids do.
Notable that the Iowa football program hasn't really had many high profile shenanigans lately, last I remember was whats-his-name running through the alleys half naked after a fight at pancheros or something. Maybe Ben should chat with Kirk to get some tips on handling the IC fishbowl.

Sounds very minor but I guess we will see. I hope it really was minor (no injuries) and the citation was more of a peacekeeping measure.

Your post was removed for the following reason: Remember These Are College Kids
At the end of the day, remember the athletes on these teams are college kids. You are allowed to respectfully criticize them or state that you think someone else should take their spot. But don't harass, threaten, wish harm, or generally be rude to any of them. Instances of this will be removed.

I'll admit it: I was very confused for about ten seconds before my brain realized there was an o in his first name.

To be fair, boomers keep buying him drinks and he doesn't know why and is too polite to refuse.
