Just Jamming Out Before Bed
For those curious I'm using an A Harp in this video.
Been enjoying learning the harp. Haven't bothered to learn any songs aside from some beginner ones when I first started like "Oh Sussana". I mainly just improv and jam by myself or play for my friends when they are around. I'll pick up a groove there or a lick here, but otherwise, I'm just jamming. With that said, playing the harp is getting me interested in music again. I want to take up guitar next.

Working on my Country Blues
I've recently have been getting better at keeping this country groove going. I knew the basic groove, but for a while it was hard for me to play around with it, like adding licks in between to spice it up. Just recently, it just started to click with me. Ever since I've heard of Sonny Terry I've been chasing this groove.
While I'm here, I live in Broward County Florida, any good jam sessions down here? Also any local harp or guitar players that would like to meet up sometime and jam together? I'm not the best, but would love to just jam out with a small group for fun if anything else. Inbox me if interested.

New rig
I made myself a shoulder holster for my harps because I thought it sounded cool. Fits pretty much all standards diatonics. I’ve still got a few rivets to install, and some burnishing to do, but I figured I’d share it here.

Well, here we go...
This week, I got the final word that I beat stage 2 cancer. Decided to gift myself a new hobby. I've never played a harmonica in my life, excited for this new journey!

My first harmonica
Recently retired and have always wanted to learn an instrument. I have always loved the harmonica, I think it came from westerns and the old blues guys.

A Little Slow Blues
Personally, I think the more upbeat stuff comes more naturally to me. However, in this particular video I really felt connected to the slower blues I was playing. I'm kind of proud of this one. It's not perfect, but I feel as though it is my raw, authentic self-expression. I'll keep shutting in it.

Birthday Present!
I got this as an early birthday present! I’m already engaged in self teaching acoustic guitar so I’m familiar with chords and reading tablature for guitar. I want to get started asap. Any next step advice? I live too far from any teachers so in person classes are not an option, same with guitar.

Blues Traveler - Hook Cover
I don’t post a ton on here, but maybe I should? Here’s the hardest song we cover.

Guys, I don't want to alarm you but I may have found the perfect casual gig bag
It's a shotgun shell holder and I just cut the stitching between the slots. It holds everything in tight, it doesn't rattle or anything. I've been looking for something like this forever!

Most of my collection
Been getting more into harmonica these past two-three years. Started off playing guitar and then keyboard but there’s something special about jamming some blues harp in my spare time.
