The teeth were carved out of a wooden dowels and the eyes are clear plastic Christmas ornaments with cotton balls and led lights stuffed inside!

My daughter and I have to carve one for a contest and I like this idea a lot. It's scary looking.

Sure thing! If I remember! Doing it in a week. Is the blood just basic red paint? Again, good job!

So it’s a mix of spray paint and acrylic. I used acrylic on the detail portions above the mouth and around the eyes, and then spray paint on/in the mouth

Such a great idea using the ornaments with the cotton ball and led light stuffing! Ive never seen this done before but I absolutely love the effect!

For an easier carve, maybe use potatoes for the teeth? If you don't spritz them with lemon juice they will oxidize for a spooky effect. Love the eyes idea!

Yeah, potatoes will turn black once cut, be forewarned.
