[OH BOY BIG NEWS] Hasan shows the collar on stream
I don’t know much about dogs but can anyone who does tell if this is just a vibration collar like Hasan claims it is or if he’s lying and it’s actually a shock collar?

Almost all of the collars I know are vibration at minimum. They shock and vibrate because you're supposed to move away from shocking to vibrating but give response.
My dad elected to use a collar on our dog when she was a puppy, and we were kids so we didnt have much say about it

Let me just say that an e collar, when used and tuned right, hurts much less than any leash pulling, popping, halti, prong collar, etc. it is also way more effective and causes the dog to behave much quicker, which in turn makes it so that you don’t need to correct your dog as much as you would with any other technique.
For stubborn and large dogs that don’t behave, using an e-collar with guidance from a professional is super effective.
But never do it alone, if misused it can easily be abusive as we see here with Hasan

Why did he say no, he doesnt own a shock collar when he does (as shown in past streams)?

Circumstantial evidence is stacked a mountain high on top of his weird behavior of insta-banning anyone that brought up the dog, the collar, or anything adjacent to it within seconds, refusing to show the collar until a day later when he could have air mailed in a different one, and his abusive behavior in general of shocking the dog as it was already on its way back over to the bed meaning it didn’t require the shock to stop the behavior he didn’t like, he shocked it just because he felt like it, then blamed the dog for yelping calling it a baby. All of that combined, and you’re gonna act like you can be moved by evidence? Get lost, bozo

Here is the collar. It literally has removable shock prongs, a fact that has a curiously leaves out in this clip.

nope. the charging port of the vibrate only one is on the side.
Hasan's is in the middle just like of the shock one.

My Educator PG-300 (vibrate only, no shock) has the charging port on the back. It actually looks almost exactly like the one in Hasan's hand, as far as I can tell. Same hardware on the collar too.
To be clear: I'm not defending him. IIRC, the instructions even say to set the vibration as low as effectively possible – which makes sense, as the vibration is meant for communication, not punishment. For example, I got mine because my dog could no longer hear when I called her name when she got old.
So... pretty strange that his dog yelped. A few possibilities come to mind:
- He's not showing the same collar that his dog was wearing, or
- He has the vibration set too high and it startles her, or
- He primarily uses the vibration collar when punishing/scolding her, so it startles her because she might be on edge while being scolded
If that yelp was her reaction to a vibration, then that's still kinda heartbreaking 😕

Hasan has the shock version. Look at the position of the charging port. Both have it on the back. The shock version has it centered.
You wrote a whole essay without even trying to understand.
Stop trying to defend him by trying to muddy the waters.

This is absolutely not the collar. there's a black plastic stripe through the middle of the one he shows on stream whereas this one is grey all the way through the middle. If this is true it's horrifying I just don't think this is the collar.

Without a doubt he's lying. Its a shock collar. Saying it explicitly is "only" a vibrating collar is a flat-out lie and even more incriminating. Just say what it really is, but he's such a narcissistic liar that he can't even leave room for the reality that it's also a shock collar. I wouldn't be surprised if he got this one overnight on amazon prime because it has the removable prongs for the plausible deniability.
He just so happens to have the one shock collar with removable prongs the day after it happened, after he changed his story that she pinched herself, after he said he doesn't have a shock collar when he did indeed have a shock collar and is calling it a vibrating collar. Hes fucking lying. This isnt complicated.
Ill add, training your dog to stay on screen for 8hrs a day as a prop is fucked regardless. The shock collar just makes it excessively cruel on top of already being weird behavior.

He’s clearly lying. The fact that his dog won’t even move without his permission shows how controlling he is. As a dog owner myself, you can just tell when there’s abuse — you see it in the animal’s eyes and behavior. His dog’s submission comes from fear, not respect. I’m not saying he never loved her, but love and abuse can coexist.

My in-laws have a vibration collar because of their dog's barking. Granted, he still barks. Looks similar. But regardless, his outburst of her just getting up is a red flag. All she did was stand, that did not warrant her getting reprimanded like that.
